WHY DID I MAKE AN 8 MINUTE VIDEO ABOUT TURBOS?
WELL IF I DON'T, WHO IS GOING TO?
WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES AND SHAPES I FIGURED ID DO MY BEST TO "SIMPLIFY" OR EXPLAIN IN AS SIMPLE TERMS POSSIBLE.
BEAR IN MIND SOME OF THE TERMINOLOGY USED IN THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN USED FOR THAT EXACT REASON AND MAY NOT BE THE PREFERRED NAMES BY PROFESSIONALS.
I REALLY HOPE YOU'VE LEARNED SOMETHING.
I FEEL LIKE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA RELATING TO THE TURBOS THAT WE MOST COMMONLY FIND IN THE LIKES OF THE MOST POPULAR 4X4 AND UTES.

Epic stuff, have you experimented with lower compression/high boost vs high compression/low boost? I have been watching the Thailand Dmax drags. Apparently 1400hp and turbo is small. I want to build mine to a reliable, de tuned 1400 hp to around 4-500 hp and 1000nm 🤪

Hello! How's the low end torque of the waste gated turbo compares to the VGT? Does the waste gated turbo have lag in the lower rpm(1500rpm below)? I'm planning on upgrading my 1kd engine, I'm torn between the two types of turbos. Your reply is highly appreciated! Thanks!

Ive put a garret gbc22-350 on my 4jj1. Wanted to remove the vac sol thats no longer needed. What size resistor can i bridge the plug with?

Not sure, we leave them in place and vent to atmos

What imp:emp ratio do you see with that 44mm turbo at 300hp? And whats the harmonic damper you got there?

2-1 at 45psi on a 4jj1 with the medium sized rear housing. 2-1 at 50psi on the large rear housing 2-1 at 40 psi on small rear housing
