You have to remember the fight takes place at night, Hantengu doesn't come off as a threat immediately because he doesn't have his rank number etched into his eyes and his appearance is of a 87 yr old man

@Jeff Peng I'm just establishing the circumstances and the reasons said in the manga why tanjiro and muichiro didn't notice hantengu.tanjiro's nose wasn't working cause the strong aroma of the hotspring before hantengu came in. Hantengu's smell isn't familiar to tanjiro as well.

You know Muichiro is younger than Tanjiro as Tanjiro is 16 not 14. At the beginning of the story there is a time skip as Tanjiro trained under Urokodaki for 2 years. The events of Tanjiro's backstory would have taken place just a few months to a year after Muichiro's backstory

Definitely excited to see this next arc. I remember being so interested in the first season of Demon Slayer that I began looking up more information about it. Eventually, decided that I couldn’t wait anymore for the next season and just jumped into reading the manga. This was the first arc that I started with, and I became obsessed. I grew up on shows like Buffy, Angel, and Supernatural, and if you add in swordsmen, there’s no way I’m not gonna be interested.

Muichiro is definitely my favorite Hashira. Between his mental issues and his natural talent, he's fascinating. He dresses modestly, he's short, he's oblivious, and is a prodigious swordsman. I look forward to seeing him animated in the SSV arc! #misthashira

Also what I like about Hantegu is that this Battle made all of his Clones Merge to be even powerful. Like he said "Humans aren't the only ones that are capable of growingstronger when push to the edge, demons as well." It means that Tanjiro, Nezuko and Genya without Mitsuri yet were giving All the Emotional Clones a Hard time to kill them. Which they have Killed Hundreds of Pillars throughout there demon years without them even becoming Zouhakuten. MEANING there Team work alone was able to Finish Off Pillars easily, and just through there confrontation to Tanjiro, Nezuko and Genya make them Level up and take things more Seriously. It just shows how powerful Tanjiro and Nezuko become. Now those are amazing Deep Details.

I always assumed in any media that has a character that has flight and can do a super sonic screech or super sonic anything was just due to them not being land locked. Because isnt it easier to reach higher speeds off the ground with no resistance? Some birds that do high altitude dives make "whistling" noise as they cut through the air

Definitely watch it man. You don't have to watch the Mugen Train movie because they just made that into season 2, the Mugen Train arc. And then it's Entertainment District arc. It is the best looking anime at the moment, but remember the fire and water and everything isn't really coming from the blades. That is just visualization of the moves. They are only sword fighting, not really controlling the elements or anything like that.

The reason why most flying characters, or this case with Urogi, can screech, is because of harpies, and the reason why he takes a screeching humanoid bird demon, is because of the saying, "I feel as free as a bird", it doesn't exactly mean you're happy, but when you are free, the happier you can be. Here's a question: Why didn't the Swordsmith Village produce more combat dolls like Yoriichi Type Zero? It could clearly function on more than just preset move sequences, so why didn't the Demon Slayer Corps push to create more of the damn things? It'd make any Kakushi with enough strength to carry the thing to a battle a massive threat to any demon below the rank of Kizuki.

Wasn't it confirmed that the Elements/Breathing style effects may not be real e.g., Rengokus flames do not burn anything, Zenitzu doesn't Electrocute anything. HOWEVER the illusions are real, the effects that you see are fully visible to everyone in the show, they just have no tangible or effect on the world around them other than bright colours.
