Really….So, I am a performer at my local rein fair. We do HEMA demos. We history nerds who care about presenting history as it was tend to snicker and lol at the general public. Our favorite game to play is Count the Furry.

Great advice - especially shoes. You want to be able to see everything, if it feels like you accidentally put on mimic shoes and they're eating your feet, you probably don't want to walk too far. Love the hat, great witchy vibes. We don't really do ren faires in the UK, some similar events at castles and things but visitors aren't normally dressed up so it doesn't have the same level of immersion.
