I have an 8 month old Frenchie. As a puppy he is a large dog packed in a small dog body. He needs to be walked 3 times a day of course, but he needs a good hr. of play time. He absolutely needs to play, play and play some more. He needs constant attention. If you don't have the time don't get one, if you do .....great dog:):):)

I have rescued Frenchton, horrid situation she came from. Good points no potty in the house, doesn't tear up things. Not so great points, she doesnt come out of her room, she will charge any of the other dogs in the house and has charge me when we stand to protect the other dogs, just standing nothing else. She is on multiple supplements, and two types of meds daily. She is absolutely perfection outside, inside she is afraid and unsure. We do everything we can to make her feel safe. Wonderful to walk on leash, smart so incredibly smart picks up trainings like a dream. But I just can't get the fear inside away.

I’m working at a dog daycare, and these videos have helped me work with some of the dog breeds I didn’t have a lot of experience with. Frenchies are some of the craziest ones to have in group, very stubborn and very clingy, so this is super helpful to know how to what their breed generally needs. Thank you so much for making these videos!

I just lost my boy, Hammond, on the 10th, early in the morning due to seizures. It started with a bad ear infection that ruptured his ear drum and put pressure on his brain (starting the seizures) back in June. I routinely cleaned his ears and gave him the best medical care and food available. Since it was a deep inner ear infection, it wasn't spotted until he started tilting his head. I had his seizures under control the last few months, with him only having 2 very minor ones in the last 2 months. The last one he had was just enough to kick off his decline. I had him in and out of the hospital all last week, having every test available done to rule everything out. Saturday morning, I got the call around 430am that made me feel like I had been hit by a truck. My stomach sank as the doctor told me he had a spell of seizures that they weren't able to be stopped. His heart slowed down, and he had had enough. My boy let go at 450am, October 10th...my mothers birthday, and crossed that bridge. Ive been an absolute wreck the last few days trying to wrap my head around why this happened to me. I spent 14 hours at the hospital with him the Friday I took him in. He lit of the room and the faces of everyone that saw him. He slept with me every single night for the last 4 years, pouting and throwing a little fit if I didn't let him under the covers. He was my best friend, no matter what my day was like he was the only thing I honestly looked forward to in my day. My house feels empty and cold, and my mind keeps thinking that I'll hear his little pig noises in the other room, or he'll come zooming down the hallway into the den wanting to play with me. These dogs are special, love them and don't just get them as a pet. Get them as a family member and treat them as one. Because when they're gone, the hole in your heart will be insufferable because of how much of it you've given to them. They may not be good for most "dog" things, but they're the best at being your friend and showing you what pure love feels like.

I know not on this channel bc this is dedicated to the french bulldog. But i am un able to comment on ur main channel. You and the rest of your team are doing a amazing job!!!

I miss my Frenchie, he would freak out even if I went out for a smoke. Even though I told him I would just be a moment, he wanted to be with me or his mom 24/7 and would be our shadows. Such great furry babies, I miss my companion!

Multi frenchie household, I’m home 24/7 and a string leader. I have 3 female pups I will breed, however my neutered adult male has become serious resource guarding with the other dogs, as well as jumping up with an open mouth with husband, other visitors and snaps or nips legs

Your guard dog quiz was a little off. It recommended a Staffordshire but in reality I already knew it was the Bull Mastiff. Bull Mastiffs are the coolest dog on the planet.

Advise please: I have two frenchies, my female is 5 years old and is a very calm loveable nature who loves dogs, cats , humans and amazing with my 3 year old. In the last year I have gotten a male ( rehoused from a family member so has been brought up knowing us ) he is a lovely dog and very compassionate and brilliant with my girl and my son, however he cannot be around any other dog, he was fine with them but in the last 5 months he instantly gets fixated and will snap, so walking him is an absolute nightmare and we cannot take him out if we want to go out, he's never been attacked . Any advise on why this could be happening and is it best to contact a dog behaviourist?

Don’t speak with her nor make eye contact. That’ll just reinforce the separation anxiety.
