Great video! If I was you I couldn’t help but want to build another set of even better quality parts crossovers. I would even consider getting rid of the potentiometers and finding the right value cap that hits the sweet spot for you. The potentiometers can also muddy up the signal path. You were lucky to be able to use air cores everywhere. When I did my SL12 I had to use an iron core on the woofer because it was so big. However Danny at GR Reserch recommended the ERSE Sledgehammer inductor. It’s a sheilded iron core that actually works really well especially on a woofer circuit. ERSE went out of business but I believe Danny or his friend bought all the equipment and now build them in the same way ERSE use to. If your ever wanting to build an end game crossover consider ordering from Danny because he also measure matches his capacitors I believe to 2% this can help with stereo imaging, and separation. I realy like his Sonic Caps on the Vegas! Crystal clear! I know it’s all kinda crazy but if your going to do it you myswell do it lol! It would make for great content. Kinda showing at what point is it considered diminishing returns. Oh ya and honestly consider the NO-Rez. It really tightens up the sound cleaning things up a bit more. This is lots of fun thanks for your videos! Oh ya Danny is also making his own high quality resistors now. One stop shop! I just like supporting him because of all the great information and content he provides 👍🏻🔈

Just sold my 3rd set of AT-12s. I buy them at $100 and clean them up, new foams, and send them down the road for $400. Gone inside of 3 days. They pound. The sound has grown on me. EDM music is awesome on them. Magnetic Flux is something to watch out for.

I sure wish you actually rebuilt customers crossovers, I personally don't have the knowledge experience and tools to do so and where I live in a country setting there are absolutely no places in my area that does this. I have a set of D9'S that my late brother purchased new in the 80's. He passed in 02' and I have his whole system set up in my living room.

Would this upgrade do the same for RE38'S?
