@@liahfaye It's a hard line to walk right? Because literal genocide is happening, and our government is not only turning a blind eye, but supplying the weapons. Israel keeps strategically taking more drastic steps during these huge pop culture moments to keep them out of the media. So it's essential to bring awareness to it and talk about it, because that's what makes change. But I understand where you're coming from and I agree! The arts are really important to society. Award shows and other events are fun to watch and talk about, and it is unreasonable to expect ourselves to not enjoy those things. There's no ethical consumption under capitalism, etc etc. It doesn't make you a horrible person to enjoy those things, (I mean, I watched this video, and I enjoyed it! ) but it's also important to be aware of how those events are being used to cover things up. Anyway, did not mean to write a full paragraph, but there's my opinion.
