While you might not have received direct cash for your investigation, it's important to think about other things you might have received (things you could confirm). When people say they weren't paid for an investigation, it's good to ask if there were other benefits involved. Sometimes, when paranormal teams visit places that claim to be haunted, especially if they're trying to get more attention, it can get tricky to tell if the "haunted" location wanted a real investigation or whether it was just an ad. Being clear about what happened is really important. For example, did you get free accommodation for doing the investigation and posting it on your channel? Using your well-known and respected paranormal group to promote a place might make it seem more trustworthy to a wider audience. Asking these questions helps keep things fair and lets people know what's really going on.

The only thing MHH said to us was, they want to do a video with us under the MHH banner and if we wanted, we can film using our own equipment and are free to do what ever we want. They also told us we can invite any other team to come join us. Thats it really.

Hi Chris, we’d just like to thank you personally for this comment as there’s a narrative going around that the place was an attraction in 2013 which has been branded to My Haunted Hotel. This narrative is 100% false, the location has always been a pub & hotel with people staying over for years. The My Haunted project has been 10 years in the making, the focus was always to place cameras in the building however it was never possible whilst the location was a fully functioning hotel for privacy reasons. The Covid pandemic allowed us to finally do this and we opened as My Haunted Hotel in 2022. People forget that Harry purchased the building solely because of its haunted reputation. The narratives are becoming ridiculous and whenever we defend ourselves we get called arrogant, we aren’t arrogant, our team are lovely and all guests can back that up but when you’re constantly being lied about it becomes extremely frustrating and we are well within our rights to defend ourselves.

Our group was doing a vigil in room 5 and I was stood right next to the door leading into the hallway. 2 knocks on the door, opened it straightaway and the hallway was empty. Pretty good evidence in my book

At the risk of being the insufferable prick-Ste was actually correct calling it "The Old King's Head." Early Old English used "th" for both of the sounds we associate with it (voiced as in "then", unvoiced as in "thin"), like we do today. But at one point, separate runes were adopted for them, the thorn (þ) and the eth (ð). Sometime around Chaucer, after the transition to Middle English, we dropped the thorn and eth and started just using "th" for both of them again. By the time of the movable-type printing press, we were only spelling a handful of specific words with the thorn, including "the", but the movable printer's types we used mostly came from Belgium and didn't have these Old English runic letters, so we substituted other letters for them (Y in the case of the thorn, hence Ye Olde King's Head for The Old King's Head). I was very disappointed when I learned we never actually pronounced "the" like "ye" 😂But suffice it to say, Old & Middle English were so different from even Shakespeare's Early Modern English that it's doubtful a spirit from those periods would have any clue what a modern-day paranormal investigator is saying. That's a whole other can of worms though 😁Looking forward to this investigation!

My thoughts and feelings on MHH are very conflicted. I've followed them since they started and at first believed they were getting good evidence, but as time has gone on i'm getting more sceptical. It's interesting the groans, growls and other noises happened in a bathroom or over a bathroom (room 8). Maybe they just have dodgy old pluming.

if you have a haunted hotel that was genuine then decorating it with a load of pound shop haloween goodies to look haunted says it all really. 400 years old and someone thought painting it like a ghost train from a traveling fair was a good move ! its quite sad really if you ask me but its only my opinion as its listed on the national heritage list of england, and a grade 2 listed building and its been decorated like that.

This reminds me of the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich. We had a haunted experience there in 2000. We were awakened by singing, but couldnidentify quite what they were saying. Next day in the cathedral, a docent was telling us about a cantor from centuries back. And now we wonder if we got a witching hour concert from him!

I've only just started to watch but stuff like 9:12 is why I can't take MHH seriously. Some Zak Bagans stuff here. Perhaps the building is haunted. But something just doesn't sit right with me with the production aspect of MHH which makes it seem less credible EVEN if it is completely genuine. They took a haunted historical building and made it a tacky attraction imo. The decor is over the top and full of horror tropes and it makes it hard to take it seriously as a haunted location. A pentagram with a rocking chair AND a doll on it? Come on it's a bit much. I've also seen them lash out at people who raise skeptism so to be honest, I'm just not a fan at all. Whenever they invite people round it feels less like theyre interested in the paranormal and more because they have something to gain from it. I felt like they used Beardo for example in order to push the "debunker couldn't debunk it!" angle. The very first thing of this video just feels like they asked you to put it there as promotion. Like we get it, it's real etc etc. What other haunted location tries this hard to convince people it's real? The owner of the attraction telling us its real is completely worthless. I mean even 30 East Drive just lets you go there, do your own thing and make your own mind up. I'm pretty sure MHH tells guests where to go and when. It's orchestrated and not a natural investigation is the vibe I get. I get it's probably frustrating having people say this stuff if they are genuine and that's why they're so determined to prove they're real. But, there's better ways to do that than to hammer it down over and over again. Let the videos speak for themselves and let people make their own mind up, and if people still think it's fake. Ah well, deal with it. You don't have to passive aggressively invite random KZbin commenters over to the hotel if they question it, as I've seen happen before. Nothing against you guys (Ouija Bros) and I'm glad you went. And it's a good investigation so far. But I gotta be honest it feels like you've just been used to promote their overly commercialised version of the paranormal. Don't hate me
