Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the Imagegraph pro-1100 inks and if Canon has updated the printer/chips to send usage data back to Canon and to prevent use of third party inks. ?

Where do you recommend buying the OEM ink refills?

So here I've been super busy after just moving and unpacking. I posted a message, Jose answered saying to watch this video and it answered ALL I needed to know. Thanks! Now I'm off and running! (finally - I literally had the Precision Ink system for 10 months. LOL).

First of all I want to say, this channel and your work, instruction and ease of learning have been invaluable! As soon as I learned about Precision early this year, right after purchasing the Pro 1000, I knew this was the way to go. Precision has MANY years experience with inks and the quality of the end results are amazing! I love the Precision sensors and even though the printer looks weird with all the cables, it's the best way to go and saves so much money over OEM. Precision actually uses OEM for some if the inks. I've only gotten the error code 1753 for 4-5 of the cartridges and look forward to disabling all the cartridge chips! MY ONLY QUESTION in this process is based on what you do Jose with the sensors. You remove them every time so they can be weighed. Have you ever had to replace the double sided tape for the sensors? Currently I leave the sensor attached and it's tricky refilling because I have to be super careful not to overfill the cartridge. I've had a few messes. Please let me/us know if you replace the double sided tape for the sensors AND if so, what tape? I don't want to use tape that might interfere with the sensors ability to sense volume. Thanks!
