If it has something in, it must leave residue. I wouldnt trust it for long term. Distilled water sounds the best, even if you want to run cleaner you can clean, flush with water, remove water and store

Jose, I just started sublimating on aluminum plates, mine come out “blotchy” and look like water spots when you look at the finished plate from the side. I use Asub paper, quality hotronics heat press. I do 400 degrees for 60 seconds. Any advice to prevent these spots.

Hello Jose. Do you have any idea as of why Epson is not disclose the longevity of the ET premium ink? Epson is definitely claiming 200 years in album and 100 years otherwise dor the dye i k Claria HD of the XP15000, but no official info from Epson for the ET premium dye ink... I really find this unfair from the manufacturer 🙄 and let's see beyond that, there arz lots of ET printers now and there is no info on this neither for the other ET bottle inks... 🤔

Hello Jose Rodriguez Photo Printing Techie: Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge!!! I was worried that I was going to be throwing out my Canon Pro 9000 Mark II print in the garbage!!! In the middle of a photo print, the white & yellow areas came out green??? I ran the self clean cycle a couple of times, making no difference. On the nozzle test print out, there was no photo magenta at all. I used your method of using the Windex soaked folded paper towel under the print head, plus I also placed a drop of Windex with a syringe where the ink from the tank enters the head, & let it soak in from the top & let it sit over night. Next morning on the nozzle test print out, there was a full strip of photo magenta. After printing out five flawless photos, in the middle of the sixth, it turned green again. Nozzle tested confirm no photo magenta again. I repeated the my Windex cleaning process, & eureka!!!! It is printing flawlessly again!!!

The cost per mL of ink for the 1000/1100 is significantly less expensive than, say, the 100/200. It’s not even close. 0.68 vs 1.03. Think about that. It’s 50% more expensive to run the lower end printers than your 1000. Maintenance is important but this seems way too extreme when the overall costs are factored in.

I use Windex for so many things related to cleaning and as soon as you mentioned it, I knew you were speaking the truth! Only thing that got my Epson WF-2630 back to normal; thank you sir!

I have a Canon Pro 100 printer. When I Google something the results will many times come up with Canon Pixma Pro-100. Is the Pro-100 and the Pixma Pro-100 two different printers? If so, can the Pro-100 use Pixma ink?

So you mentioned it was using a matte black ink and matte paper. But is that the ink that comes with it or do you change out a photo black to a matte black when you need to print on matte paper.

Hello Jose! Great video - it is very obvious that you know what you're talking about. I'm wondering if you can offer any tips to get my Epson R2000 past the initiation cycle? I got this machine used and with "end-of-life" ink pads showing up as an error message. The machine already has an external tube and reservoir for catching excess ink. So, I got a reset utility and reset the ink pads so that error message went away. Then, it went straight into a different error message (power light off; paper and ink lights flashing simultaneously). I made sure there was no paper jam and used compressed air to clean out any dust and debris from inside the unit. But it still cycles straight into the error message with the paper and ink lights blinking simultaneously (the power light off.) I tried a tip from a guy on facebook and opened and closed the manual feed door on the front which seemed to work one time - only to fail again to the same error message. Epson support says that the machine has a hardware failure and needs to go to a service center. Do you have any suggestions that I could try first?

Can I put one compatible ink cartridge into a group of partially full Epson 96 ink cartridges in my R2880 printer? Trying to find a way to not have to buy a new printer when mine works so well but no more Epson cartridges in a couple of colors can be found anywhere.

Hi, I have issues with my Pro 1000, it damages all of the bottom of the prints. The printer starts clicking then the print moves right to left and it results in damaged print. Any advice would be very welcome. Love your channel 🤙🏽 13:45
