David Leitch would be an interesting director with his work with bullet train and work in the John wick saga, I would love for the X-Men focus on Cyclops and having him deal with his ego/pride and trying to be a leader.

This is great news! I'm so happy that some of the original X-Men actors get some screen time and connecting all of the old X-Men movies to the current MCU. It'll be tough seeing the old X-Men actors move on after all these years, but it'll be great to see new actors take those characters on and continue those characters into the future.

The dude wrote a gem called Macbeth, which I think is a highly underrated film! I know there's like an Assassin's Creed film he has a writing credit on but I heard that movie had a horrible production with a lot of Studio interference so I honestly don't blame him for that. Plus, I really enjoyed the new Hunger Games movie, so I think this is a good get for an X-Men movie!

🤔 Theory: Beau DeMayo was offered to write the live action movie but only under the condition that he leaves the animated show wanting him to focus on one Not the other. He defends that he can do both simultaneously and execs say fire him during the show release for press propaganda and have him sign an NDA of not talking about the firing until its officially announced that he is the live action writer. Didn't he give them 4 seasons worth of material..... am I reaching?

I enjoyed the Hunger Games prequel, it gave a new dimension to Snow's aversion to Katniss. Lets see where they decide to go with X-Men. Besides Captain Marvel do they have any other Avengers or other superhero teams in that universe where Monica Rambo got stuck?
