Hey, I think they should change the name to Blades and have both Wesley and Mahershala. They already set everything up in Deadpool. Mahershala is Balde’s son who’s been looking for him but he was in the void. Now that he’s no longer in the void, they find each other and fight together to stop Lilith or some other villain. I think that way all the fans get to see both actors in the lead. Okay Marvel, I just gave you my pitch.

The good thing they've had in their corner is that they held off filming while they were working all this out. I know none of us can really see what's going on behind the scenes, but maybe something they could've done to help get out of this rut is put up a poll asking people what they'd like to see for a Blade Movie. It might've helped sparked inspiration for what they want out of this movie. But it's good to hear it looks like they've finally got this locked down. Honestly I'm impresed by Maharshal Ali the most, it sounds like he's determined to get this thing finished no matter what regardless of how long it takes.

Blade was a guy with an Afro and blue shades stuck in the 70's before Wesley Snipes made him cool.... The Spiderman Cartoon used the redesigned Blade and added aspects from the movie like Whistler. It just aired before the movie came out so a lot of folks don't understand how much that blade movie reimagined the character

In other words, if they want a new version of the movie Blade then that's Wesley Snipes and Wesley Snipes isn't old and lame. There's no logical reason he shouldn't be Blade. This ain't competitive sports where you have to transition to the young guy. Hell, that doesn't even work in sports like New England getting rid of younger guys like Jimmu Girafolo or whatever his name is, to keep Tom Brady. Wesley Snipes as Blade is comparable to Tom Brady cause again, he took an unpopular character and made him huge

I say just put him into somebody movie and let him be featured in others movie until they get it straight for his movie. Doctor Strange 3 would be a perfect Blade feature. A good 10 minute cameo and maybe a post credit scene. They still can be working on getting the film done. Just my thoughts 💭

They are going to wait out Ali's Marvel contract and sign Snipes on for a short contract so he can pass the torch to Blade's daughter. Only thing they have to do is bring the script up to date and a few tweaks
