Thank you for the in depth, unbiased review. I just switched from the 2015 Moto X Pure as it apparently was not as "Spill Proof/Water Resistant" as Motorola claimed and they refused to honor their 1yr warranty even though they advertised the phone as having an IP52 nano coating. Anyhow, I received my OP3 yesterday and it literally took only four days to get to the US from China. I can't even get domestically shipped items that fast many times. Yes, my MXPE had a 2k display, a 21mp rear dual flash shooter and front flash as well. Not to mention an SD slot. I must say I am very happy with OOS and my OP3. The 6S+ probably would have been a better comparison due to screen size but as far as cost to value ratio goes the OP3 wins hands down to both iPhone models. BTW, I am so sick of fanboys(and girls) on each side. It's like you take your preferred OS personally and God forbid anybody enjoy using something else. iOS is actually a good OS. I've been an iPhone user and I absolutely loved the integration of HW and SW as well as the various optimizations that resulted. I also enjoy Android in it's pure, or close to pure form. To each his(or her own) It just seems like a stupid pissing contest with all of these sheeple(iOS and Android alike) out there screaming that they have the better device. Who cares? If you like it, great! If not get something that you do like. They both have their own pros and cons. Maybe the cultish users that feel so strongly about this sort of thing should maybe grow up and get out of mommy and daddy's basement and get a taste of the real world. One thing is for certain though, it definitely extends far beyond your choice of smartphone OS. [/rant]

There is something about the OnePlus 3 which is missing in almost every review you can find. There is actually no other Smartphone which can leave an application so fast as the OP3. Yeah. I know that sounds a little bit strange. But pressing the home button for leaving an application can perform so different from device to device. But when you hit the home button on the OnePlus 3,it simply doesn't matter which tasks or games you may have running. If you hit the home button,your instantly on the home screen. There is no delay at all. Check your phone and do a little observation. You will see delays between just a few milliseconds and maybe more than two and a half seconds.

Really good comparison. I was expecting it to be heavily biased towards the iPhone, due to the username, but everything was covered apart from the notification slider on the 1+3. The positives for each phone at the end of the video was nice as well, although some of the points for both of the phones weren't necessarily positive, and even though I'm biased toward the 1+3, then I'd say that the image stabilization (if it is what I believe it is - the stability when recording) looks shit. Oh well, maybe it'll get fixed in an update or something.

From what I've seen and heard, even though the One Plus 3 has optical image stabilisation hardware and software, video is still quite shaky. Pocketnow did a great camera review on it. Also, for Australian users, be careful with those 8 LTE bands. Some network providers don't use all of them, so your internet may be pretty slow while out of wi-fi range. That said, I think the OP3 looks like a fantastic phone for the price.

Not way better. The One Plus 3 is comparable to the 6s Plus. The UI of the One Plus 3 I think is better due to the customization in thingslike dark mode, the shelf, the gestures, and such. Single core tests for the 6s plus are better, but the op3 i think will multi task better in the long run. Photos are generally similar, but video for the iPhone 6s plus is better. They're both good, and I think it's a bit much to say that the iPhone is way better.

Good review comparisson! I would have just one complaint: price difference is 350$ since u gotta take in account that u should compare 64GB model with 64GB.
