This IS legit. I had to try and connect multiple times but it does work. The functionality you will get is based on your device and your version of iOS. It will also be effected by the status of the device, for instance if it had been reset completely (Erase All Data and Settings) via the option just mentioned or if someone performed a DFU restore on the device. Just log into another network and switch back to your network with the altered DNS. Then hit next and wait for it to say that it was unable to make the connection to Apple server, click back and wait. It will then connect to alternate server. This works for iOS 9.2.1 on iPad Air 2 as well as iPhone 5s on same iOS. Just an FYI in case someone needs to use this method often. Easier than forget and repeat.

Supplery My iCloud Lock was removed using iremover.space and now my iPhone is working Once you plug in your device to your iTunes, it will prompt you to download and run the iOS update for your device. If you haven’t already updated to the latest version of iTunes, then you should do that as well. If you are on a newer Mac and no longer have iTunes

To everything Apple pro, I use voice over, and you don't have to switch to another language to make voiceover respring your device this is actually a feature Apple implemented back in the beginning of iOS because of the fact that voiceover would lose speech, and visually impaired people have no way to restore it and less A respring or reboot was completed and voiceover has many many bugs that could probably get you into iOS from the activation screen

Just wanted to add.... If you don't have another network to log in to, just click on any network in range and enter the wrong password. When it says incorrect, click dismiss then click join, it will say incorrect again, then click dismiss and cancel. Then just wait. It will reconnect to the known network and connect to the server automatically. ( it sometimes works without attempting the incorrect password multiple times, but it works more often when trying the incorrect password 2 or more times )

I did this, and I was watching the iOS 8 update video, I entered that DNS, it now doesn't give me an option to sign in under that iCloud, it actually says " connect to iTunes" below and when I click on it, it says " continue without wifi? You need a network connection to set up App Store, iTunes, iCloud, and other services" and then it gives me an option to continue or use wifi. But it's not connecting to my wifi, and when I click continue, it says "connect to iTunes" with the iTunes symbol and the iPhone lightning connector. Please help
