I've heard of this idea. I've got many hoya plants. Thanks for this video! I'm going to use it for my hoyas. You can use this for any trailing plant. Correct?
@EverythingPlants2 жыл бұрын
Oh ya! I initially had this titled for hoyas, but so many more plants can be placed on here as well.
@angstaples2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff! I felt so bad when your vine broke that I gasped and had to show my husband😂 I have a hoya that is sentimental to me, a gift from an old coworker friend. I recently read that it was important to make sure the vine is pointing up on the trellis or it will stop growing... do you think this is true or will it sort itself out? I just assumed they'd point themselves toward the light. I hadn't heard that before, was just wondering what you thought. Happy Growing!
@EverythingPlants2 жыл бұрын
Hey Ang! Thanks for your concern, but hoyas are super resilient. It will push out a new vine from the node where the portion broke off. Now for the direction of growth. I have many trail and climbing hoyas and honestly it doesn't matter. They will send out runners often and it will latch onto something and start growing upwards. My vining one grow like crazy as well.

My brazil is in a plastic hanging pot, but my very old hederaceum (green heartleaf) has lived its whole life in terracotta and it is loving it. I am thinking of staking half of it because it is growing so so much and the vines are crazy.
