You just gave me an idea. I bought two iPhones with broken screens from this old lady. She assured me that the passcodes are removed. Come to discover that the iPhones still have passcodes after fixing them. And she has cut off all communication after I asked her for the passcodes. I will go back to her house and cause bad commotion

iPhone 7 & iPhone 11 for £50. The iPhone 11 back glass was broken too. And the idea seems to have worked in a way because I sent her a voicemail that I'll come to her house to cause bad commotion. Moments later, her daughter texted me to help me unlock the phones even though she said she's reported me to the police with the voicemail

I been around selling things for 5 years and have been scammed with fake cash, fake sealed boxes with weight in it, fake product/dumm products. Even straight up mugged so stupid! I hate getting scammed had to leave the scene because it’s so shady business all the time

Bro this is the reason why i stopped selling on FB in 2019. A guy came to my house, saw I had an injured leg and ran off with the phone. Now I just sell on eBay and have been since then, more money (only sell during 80% off fees or £1 fee back in 2020), no fake money bs and no timewasters which FB is full of.

Happened to me with computer parts which I use to resell gaming pc. So I buy the parts person reassures me it all works and I pickup at his house. So as it goes i test the pc parts and it don’t work I tell the guy he says I’m lying I say I will contact police and come to his house. He starts threatening me all that he was a big dude ngl I took the lose and moved on!

Out of the 350 plus phones i sold in about 3 years i only got scammed twice first time was a rookie dumb mistake i sold a iphone 11 pro shipped it to the customer and he photo edited a receipt that says he sent the funds but i didnt get the funds so i lost $200 CAD on the iphone i paid plus $20 CAD for shipping i would have made $180 profit and second time i bought a xr and the bluetooth did not work and i talked to the person sold me the xr and he ghosted me

Most times if I meet the seller in public like car parks etc I’ll always check the phone etc but if I meet them at their address I don’t as much unless I sense something is off
