Mr Judge lol glad you took time out of your day to right me a book, And I assumed you didnt make it past boot and got chaptered is because you stated you WERE a private in 2019, it’s 2020 a year would get you at least PFC therefore still being a private but since you WERE I can make that assumption,. Okay I can rephrase that sentence to make it less specific and personal, no one in my entire company took more than TEN minutes changing into OCPs so again I can say you were “that guy” lmao Good job writing a book though about crying how the military treats people like crap, I dont disagree, everyone knows what they signing for so why complain? @@adenarenas7939 They already dropped it in favor of a new thing called “The First 100 Yards”. Supposed to be the first event the recruits go through together to help build teamwork, while building trust in their NCO’s. The supposed reasoning behind the removal was that Shark Attacks were never an actual regulated part of the Army, they were instead created during a Draft period where the Drills needed to quickly weed out those who wouldn’t make it. But with our current All Volunteer Army, it’s not as much of a necessity.

When I got out of the Air Force, my biggest nightmare, was getting recalled back in, then having to go through basic again, to get back in shape. I left the AF as a Sgt, and having to put up with raw recruits, a half crazed TI, for six weeks, scared the hell out of me. I was at my 54th birthday party, smiling, grinning, knowing I'd reached the point that the military would no longer want me back, I could sleep nights without the nightmare of hearing a TI yelling at me. In basic, I thought Drill or Training Instructors were from another planet. They thought your ears were in your chest. Their watches a lot faster than mine, and the only way to get out from under a yelling TI...hope some other idiot did something worse and he got the TI's wrath. What made it worse, going for training, my electronics training would last a full year. At that time, you were in extended Basic for the entire time.

Really! You had chair force nightmares. And a whole 6 weeks of basic training. LMFAO!

@@u.s.marine6430 For a eighteen year old city kid, never been out on his own, it was a shock to the system. You quickly adapt. The thing that made it worse, was it didn't end in six weeks, I got shipped off to Keesler AFB, and the technical training school there for another 52 weeks, for Avionics training and Tech School was considered a continuation of basic, so from the day I stepped onto Lackland, in Texas, to the day I left Keesler, , Biloxi, Mississippi, I was in Basic Training.

Wait a second, I knew I remembered those walls. This is where my brother went I think it was for his Infantry training or BT. But I remember driving to OK, and came to the base, its acres upon acres and miles. And we went into this building. And I remember this vividly because my dad almost got arrested for almost pushing a bike out of the way when we were about to park

Back when I went through one station unit training work was like basic and AIT all at once for the cavalry in 2005 we didn't have any of that Emma and her two Mom. Hypothetically a drill Sergeant which may or may not have been in this video brought us into formation and without telling us told us that a private that kept screwing us over could have a slip and fall accident and that night hypothetically this private got his ass whooped and I can go into further detail but I will not. I was one of the last years of the army when train was actually tough and if you fuck everybody over you got your ass beat.
