They take you different routes but no doubt this video is helpful!! Follow the traffic signs, speed limit, mirror checks every 10 sec, let the signal blink 5 to 8 times before changing lanes & check mirror side mirrors & blind spot proper before switching lanes, pedestrian checks. Stay calm & don’t rush!

I took the G2 road test yesterday at this location and I passed on the first try. I watched 100s of videos with all kinds of instructions (how to parallel park, what the route is, etc.). I don't know about other locations, but for this location I have to say this video is by far the most detailed one I watched, and has helped me the most in my preparation for the road test. I really like how you explain all the little things Evgeniy, you need to make more videos! If it helps other drivers - they took me to an opposite route. From Maritz I went right on Derry, right on Edwards (be careful on the Yield sign) and left on Capital (I performed the technical part on Capital Ct, including parallel park behind an old pickup truck), then back and left on Edwards, right on Admiral and back to the test site. P.S. on St Barbara the speed limit is now 40, but there are 2 signs along the road which you cant miss so it shouldn't be a problem if they take you there.

Was just wondering for the ferry road turn how would you know to go 70 if there are no posted signs? Don’t you usually go 50 if you don’t see any signs and change when you do?

@@peternguyen670 The speed signs are posted at certain distances along Derry rd. It is just a coincidence that you cant see one just after the turn from Moritz. There are 2 signs on Derry showing "Maximum 70" just west of Hurontario, and another one at thebeginning of the additional right lane before St. Barbara. But the expectation is that you already know this as a driver, and you should immediately begin accelerating to 70 so that you don't slow down traffic or cause a hazard. Think of it as merging in to the 401, you should not wait for a sign in order to speed up.

@@Bot_Nizaeden oh alright I was kinda worried because I’m the video by the time you see the post 70 they decided to turn right turning it to a 50 zone so I was kind of scared that they would fail me and a bunch of other people because we would assume it was a 50 because we didn’t see it until it was too late

Passed my test today. So happy and thanks for the advice. Same route but I went on a different street to do my parking and three point turns. My instructor really liked when I did the handbreak properly. My advice for anyone doing this: Please don't be nervous, I'm not the best at driving (yet) but if you practice you'll get it. They're much nicer than other places. Just remember to look at your mirrors, shoulder check, and practice every type of parking. You'll be fine after that. Don't be nervous. Anyway, thank you. I am here to express my appreciation and thanks. Even the video is two years old, it is still applicable. There were so many things which i learned in this video which was even missed by my instructor. I practiced in the same route before my exam just to get the idea of road, curve, signs. If this route is near to your place, i would recommend to practice on this route, its really gives you confident during your test. Many thanks for this video.

Practice driving on the route for at least three times that will help you to getting familiar with the route and building your confidence. In the nutshell, the safety is the most important part of G2 Road test.

I watched this video twice before. And last night for the 3rd time. Today I passed my G2 at the very first attempt. So helpful. I had never been to that area, but after watching this video repeatedly, felt like real, that I had been to those areas in reality. And the route was exactly the same as shown here. I got a good news. After delaying 2 times, almost 1 year. I started to take g2 test this morning at 10.30. My examiner is a woman. I have to say she is so kind. When going into Derry road, I forgot to reach 70km. She reminded me. I am so lucky when dont make any mistake this morning. I watched ur video last night. I saw it 2 times before sleeping. Really helpful tips and guidance. thank you very much. however, I had my test here and the instructor used a different route, instead of going left towards St. barbara, he asked me to take right... which came as a little surprise, however, you just need to be calm and concentrate on the road and follow what the instructor is asking you to do. also, I am grateful to get a very humble instructor who just by talking to me before the test calmed me down and explained all the rules and everything very well!

This is a great video. I took my test on 15-Nov-2023, but on Derry Road, the instructor asked me to take right and then we went into Edwards Blvd. It's an industrial area, with no proper lane markings. I made mistakes when taking left turns (I was not in the left-most lane) and I failed the test. So please practice in all possible routes.

This video was really the most needed one and detailed on the test route. Thank you so much for making this kind of video. Yeah, Alhamdulillah I passed it with some minor mistakes. After turning on the st. Barbara road there was little change in the route but all was exactly the same. I did parallel parking so got to do forward parking and need to mention the examiner was so cool. Try to book between 10 to 2 pm.
