Why Kissin is one of the most sought concert pianist because he can convey the emotion of the composer to the listener. As well he is a joy to watch Kissin perform and really he can make me feel the music he is playing. Such a magnificent pianist.

It's not about virtuosity or impeccable technique which Kissin undoubtedly has but the ability to to transmit Chopin's soul through these type of pieces. In my opinion, the only pianist that has achieved this so far is Arthur Rubinstein.

For this piece i think Rubinstein´s version is the best i´ve ever heard...but in other pieces like nocturne op.9 nº1 , I just prefer Claudio Arrau or Ashkenazy´s versions.

Too slow and borng! Needs play it much faster. Go listen to Valentna Lisitsa's version and see for yourselves. According to Lisitsa, the metronome markings for this piece is "Lento Sostenuto marked as 50 beats per minute in half-measure (150BPM in eights)

Saludos ...
