As an Australian who was put on the beach as a baby, THE best advice is to wear sunscreen everyday. Sadly people of my generation weren’t given this advice , (not even sure if it existed until I was older). Paying for it now with sunspots, sun damaged skin & skin cancers. Thanks Wayne for reminding everyone how important it is even if it’s not sexy. 🧙♀️

I would like to look awake and not tired! I have been using Trention for a couple of years now and I bumped into a friend of mine from when I was in my early thirties. Keep in mind, that I am now 43 and she hasn't seen me in nearly 7 years. She took one look at me and said how did you get younger? I have lines and things, but I think the Trentoin went made a huge difference. I also use sunscreen every single day. Considering that I live in the Northwest, people looked at me funny when I am wearing it in the Winter, but I'm the one who laughs last! 😃

Top video 👍! The only step I would include (and I am including) is a Vitamin C serum. But I also know not everybody needs it. The good thing is after starting Vitamin C you see results (if you see one) after two to three weeks. So you can decided after that if you want to continue using it.

I remember starting using skincare products at the young age of 13 years old. I used a Sea breeze facial scrub, bonnie bell astringent, and a lightweight moisturizer. I had very few breakouts during my teen years, I was lucky lol. I will be 50 years old in May, and I still love taking care of my skin. I was always told that my makeup would look better and flawless, preventing future wrinkles if I had a good skincare regimen. I want to age gracefully and still look like myself, but better if that is possible, haha! There are some great skincare products out there in helping our skin. I have used many oils on my face as well. Calendula oil is great for moisturizing, healing breakouts, and inflammation. Aging is normal and shouldn't be feared, but it is with some. Our eyes are the window to our soul and will show our age at some point. Taking care of our skin and body can help to lessen what we will experience in the years ahead. Not many are blessed to live a long life into their 70s and longer.

Wayne, I thought you got botox for migraine? I have been getting this for 20 plus years. The difference is the injection area. Mine is definitely the sides of my head, under the temples. I also now have the nape area done. I must get my forehead done but I have full brow movement. If I could, I would do my entire scalp...which one doctor use to do. About 30-50 injections... I am 61 and have bags under my eyes. I wonder how much is due to botox. Doesn't matter, if I miss a 3 month appointment, I am in migraine hell around 4.5 months. It's been a Godsend for me. I will mention there IS one more product backed by science which may be worth your time: Vitamin C. Personally, I've tried Skin Ceuticals C,E,Ferulic, and Drunk Elephant's knock off C-Firma. The Skin Ceuticals product is more than twice the price of Drunk Elephant, and is also far superior. I got amazing results with Skin Ceuticals and NO results with Drunk Elephant. I want this attitude to be the prevailing one when it comes to aging. I have a strong dislike for the term "anti-aging" because if we are not aging, we are dead. I used to think more was better in terms of skincare, but now that I've scaled back to the basics while using evidence-based ingredients to help with my skin type and concerns, I'm sticking to it and aging gracefully. I'm 34 and am starting to show some fine lines on my forehead (I have an expressive forehead). I do not want botox for multiple reasons and I'm okay with it. I also highly recommend Differin (adapalene). It works beautifully for my acne-prone, sensitive/reactive skin. I can use it every night with zero irritation when followed with a nice moisturizer.

On my highly sensitive skin, I do cleanser twice daily (with a balm for a PM double cleanse), peptide/HA serum, sunscreen in AM and a light moisturizer at night. Beyond that, I use BHA twice a per week, ethylated ascorbic acid in the morning under sunscreen, and am timidly dipping my toes into retinol with a granactive retinoid serum twice weekly at night. I hope to increase it to every night so long as my skin can tolerate it. I agree with you about the importance of sunscreen. I only wish I'd started wearing it daily sooner!

I don't know how old you are, but I remember a time (not that long ago, after all) the importance of SPF was so understated or simply not advertised at all. We (I?) were not educated. I wear it religiously now but, like you, I wish I had known sooner so as to start using it sooner.

Hi Sheila! I was wondering what brand serums and sunscreen you use? I've tried a few with the acids and I haven't found one that blows me away except for a few super expensive Lancome ones that also have undesirable ingredients in them. I'd appreciate any info or advice you can offer. Thank you!!!

@@natthebratster The serum I use is Hylamide Subq Skin. Sadly, it's been discontinued so I'm finishing up my stockpile and searching out a replacement. I like that it's just hyaluronic acid and peptides, so hydrating and not at all irritating.
