This is amazing!! Bravo 👏 how can parents get involved?? Would love to help & use more voices. Not only should it be part of the curriculum but a teaching degree should have at least 6 weeks of training on neuro diversity & autism in it.

As someone who is late diagnosed I couldn't have even told you at the time why I didn't want to go to school, just always had headaches and tummy aches. I only just passed year 10 due to attendance and then dropped out after failing year 11 (attendance hadn't improved). I hope that they take on board that people can't always explain why they don't want to/can't do something and making them do it doesn't make it so you get over it/used to it.
