Aerith and Sepiroth actually aware about the story of the Original game on PSone, and they changed it at the ending of the remake, Zack lives in some kind of another timeline, and Sephiroth said about 7 seconds to change what's gonna happen, which I think there's a hope to save everyone this time not just Aerith. We also saw that Biggs did not die unlike in the original.

Yo, if no one does I am going to be really upset. I know that sounds crazy, but this game is about processing loss. Yoshinri, the creator of FFVII, came up with this whole thing because he had recently lost his mother and was trying to work through his own process of loss and how to cope with it. It's not about keeping everyone alive, because that just isn't realistic. We all die and some sadly sooner than others, but it's about how we process that and make the most of it to never loose that. Yeah I am going crazy in the comment but it has been a while impact and I love this game. If that happens I will be incredibly disappointed.

@@maxmartez7849 Well said. In OG VII death was palpable. When a beloved character died you truly felt like they had passed on to the other side. You had questions. There was a sense of mourning. The life stream was this mysterious conduit of souls that was both beautiful and unforgiving. The crowning fault of the Remake is the loss of this tragedy. Maybe they are just setting us up. Who knows.

@@maxmartez7849 Eh... that doesn't really change much about FF7, if they ever save Aerith and not kill her off. If you want to play the OG FF7, then just play that. FF7 Remake is not a 1:1 remake, where you experience the same story in modern graphics. That'd be boring, in my opinion.

@@michaelrobosa146 I loved 95% of this game and it was drastically different than the OG. I am good with change, the problem is when you change the core message. The game was about dealing with loss, and how people deal with that loss differently. Arieth was the center piece of thst loss for you the player. It wasn't just some NPC in the game, this was at the very minimum a party member you invested time and effort in to level up and to see that shit just taken from you hit harder than other things. So to simplify the message. Take an arm or leg away and you are still who you are, but take the heart out of a person and they are dead.

The's also a scene where she's in the sewers & sees graffiti of Stamp in the water. After seeing it, she correctly guesses that Jessie's key is in the water of the sewers. Even though she hasn't been to the sewers before.

This one confused me because... Stamp wasn't present in the original game. Most of her knowledge is stuff she would have known from the original games timeline.

IIRC; Aerith and Marlene have a moment where Marlene seems to notice something off about Aerith just smiles and give her the finger on the lips "hush" gesture.

@@xxreyoxxI don't think so, I think it's because Marlene made physical contact with Aerith. If you recall Cloud didn't start seeing the shadows and visions of the other timeline until Aerith touched him. I think the same thing happened here and Marlene saw a vision of the other timeline as well.

During a fight with Sephiroth, if Aerith comes to the team first . If you let him hit Aerith a few times, he will say the phrase .Can't you see your future? I have no idea why they hid this phrase, because it is very important . But I heard it on the second pass and was shocked . I even lost the fight, even though I tried to play without dying....

Yeah well, if the theories about her were right, then she likely travelled back time using the Lifestream, to warn Cloud and the others about Sephiroth remaking the original timeline.

In Advent children she appears to Cloud in visions, to help him stop sephiroth an Geostigma, but even if she did travel back in time to the past....couldn’t she just appear to Past Cloud an warn him in visions or dreams. Or even warn her past self, of what’s to come. So I don’t think she travel back in time.

@@TheKira708 yeah, i know. that's why it's just a theory for now. there's also another theory that is most likely possible which is, the OG FF7 that we played and loved, was the future vision Aerith saw in the Remake. compare the ending of OG FF7 and the opening of FF7 Remake. they are quite similar. Aerith slowly opening her eyes while praying at the leaked mako pipe in the ending of OG FF7. same goes in the opening scene in the Remake.

I think the first ones are just normal aerith things (cloud being SOLDIER was kinda obvious because of his eyes), and when he waited for cloud when he snuck away to sector 7 was in the original game, she was there as well.

I actually don’t think this game is a remake. I think it’s an addition to the og game where they’re twisting things to be more interesting. Aerith probably won’t die much like zack and it will create bigger stakes or something. They could have Tifa jump in front of her like how the devs envisioned originally. Cosmonaut Variety show explained it perfectly

I think the implication is that "Remake" refers to the characters setting out to "Remake" the future, in the case of both the heroes and the villains.

it was. the ending of OG FF7 ended where Aerith is looking at the pipe of mako, with her eyes closed. the opening of Remake started with her eyes closed, then slowly opening it. basically, FF7 Remake is a sequel to the original FF7, and not just a traditional remake in modern graphics

Og ff7 is aeriths visions of the future, ff7 remake is the reality taking place. So with aerith knowing what's going to happen and with the whispers defeated it opens the door for the journey to be the same but with the possibility of anything changing. Aerith might not die, she might tell cloud not to go to the northern crater, she might kill hojo when he's getting a tan in Costa del sol. The whole game could be different. Might as well just convince the party to go to the forgotten capital immediately and stand in a circle around her to protect her and keep cloud tied up so he doesn't get manipulated by sephiroth to do dumb shit. Holy summoned, meteor never called, just gotta kill jenova and it's over. From fort condor to bone village is all optional side content.

So there's one way they could tie all this together. The branching timelines.They need to flesh out JENOVA. If you think about it, she's the big bad off ff7. Sephiroth may be the final boss. But JENOVA started and persisted after the end, without ever being fully explained. People say Sephiroth saw the end, but what if JENOVA saw it instead and told her favored child.
