This was one of my favorite Hulk stories because of how relatable it was. Not so much because I connected with the themes or characters, but because I also had to face off against my future self, Just Some Guy with a Beard, and this story really hit home. Let me tell ya, Peter David is accurate in saying you can't easily defeat yourself from the future. I would not recommend it.

In the Trophy Room there's a great Easter Egg: The Bottled City of Kandor is above Rick Jones in Professor X's hoverchair, to the right of Red Skull's skull. That's great!

Pretty good but look in the right places and you’ll see green lantern’s lamp, Archie’s sweater vest, a box holding what I can only assume is Rom spaceknight, wonder woman’s tiara, Superman’s cape along with the kryptonite brick that killed him, the urn holding Peter David’s remains and finally apparently either rick jones owned replicas of Tom servo and crow. Or the world of mst3k is a part of future imperfect and galactus made the brilliant move of taking mike Nelson the destroyer of worlds as his new herald while leaving tom and crow on earth.

Every story in comics where they need to fix the future has a shitty, or contrived, or rule breaking ending.... Except this one. The Gamma Bomb unmaking AND making the Hulk simultaneously in a Hulk centered story.... Perfection. I really like that more than anything else I've read. The are better futures with better characters- but this ending beats all others for me.
