​@@KaylemBurrt It would have been easy to just write an evil character wanting revenge, but the writers took an interesting route with evil Morty, by making him be like Rick. Evil morty wants to escape, but in order to escape he will need to adopt every trait of what makes Ricks dominant, and the ability to achieve the goal he sought after, but in the process becomes the very thing he hates. He's evil not for the sake of evil, but evil with a reason, and that's why he's a great character.

At first I didn't quite understand what he meant, but when I saw season 7, it all became very clear in my head. I finally understood and I was shocked. I don't know if I'm right or wrong, this is just my view of things, but if there are other people as smart or smarter than Rick in other infinite universes and he managed to put a wall between his infinity and the others', does that mean Rick was afraid of these people? I mean, why would he do that? Why separate your own infinity from the others? Just to brag about being the smartest man without people showing you otherwise, or is it so much more than that? I find it so interesting. The writers of Rick & Morty are amazing! I don't know where they got all this story, these adventures, these character ideas, their way of developing protagonists so well and, above all, their visions of life, humans and the universe.... The fact that they managed to blend both humor and maturity is, in my opinion, this series' greatest stroke of genius. Watching this series, Rick has had a big influence on my way of seeing things, and I've thought a lot about it. What is life really all about? Relationships, humanity, love... In the end, it's all nothing, it's all unimportant. But it doesn't matter when you reach a certain level of consciousness. Morty is proof of that. He's young, naive and not nearly as smart as Rick. That's where we see the difference in their behavior. They're the exact opposite. Rick knows everything. Morty, on the other hand, knows practically nothing about nothing. Innocence and lack of knowledge prevent the living being from asking questions and allow him to enjoy things without any problems. That's why, in my opinion, intelligence is both a gift and a curse. It certainly allows you to know things and get answers to your questions, but is it really worth it if you end up sad and disgusted by the reality of life and things? If you could choose, would you choose to be the smartest man in the universe but unhappy all your life, or to be the least smart but happy? Finally, Rick And Morty is in my top 5 favorite series and it's not 5th...

Yes this is a nice POV. If you have noticed rick from season 1 and now. He is little changed too. His excessive drinking has reduced. He is less detached from family. And deep down we are shown he lowkey cares for morty. He was having a pic for Morty in his wallet. Latest season last episode. Maybe we will get the best version of Rick after all?

That is just one possibility, but I think that isn't his true motive for making the curve. You see, Rick was driven during the conception of the curve by one thing and one thing only, to find Rick Prime and get his vengeance. Now he could just randomly drift through the infinite cosmos, but that would be horribly inefficient and he would likely never succeed that way. Think about it, why waste time looking through infinite universe that don't have a Rick, why look through universes that have ricks who aren't the smartest being in the universe, and yes why look through universes that have beings smarter than rick? The answer, he wouldn't, because he knows that Rick Prime would never be in any of those universes. Rick Prime only cares about himself, and sees other Ricks as inferior toys or projects for his amusement. Rick Prime only wants to be in the company of either himself, or other versions of himself that are the smartest being of their respective universe. That would rule out rickless realities as they'd be boring to him. That would rule out universe with unintelligent Rick's as they'd be useless to him. And that would rule out universes with beings smarter than a Rick because they'd be dangerous to him. Our Rick, Rick C137 knows this, and thus knows he needs not look in those realities to find Prime, therefore he builds the CFC to filter out all those other universes where he knows Prime would never be.

Im currently at a funeral for an ex friend. (In between the service and the grave side stuff) i watched this (7-5) episode with her. It was such a good theme we both had to find it asap and play it again. Gettin an extended version helps. Its such a good theme. Itd be a banger with out the show. You know re-watching the show I can't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe Morty is the most dangerous being in the entire multiverse, and the reason that Rick keeps him around and is always putting him down and giving him just enough love to keep his true nature at bay is to keep him in check because if any Morty were to realize their full potential they could destroy everything that ever existed, or something like that. Evil Morty is a prime example of that. Just look at what he became capable of once he let love die in his heart. He became a monster capable of anything, and I think the only reason he stopped when he did is because him being Evil Morty makes it so that instead of seeking total destruction he just wants to live his days out in relative peace.

I think I wrote this for the video about Morty freeing Planetina, but I think it's also relevant here. "It's no surprise that Evil Morty has been so successful. In fact, almost any Morty can become the most dangerous bastard in his (or others) galaxy if he really sets his mind to a “goal”." Think about those moments when Morty got tired of all the crap in his adventures. He changed. He stopped taking it. But eventually he went back to his usual behavior. After all, the essence of all Morties is endless patience and forgiveness. But what if Morty gets tired? What if Morty stops forgiving? What if Morty stops taking it? A creature will appear that is hundreds of thousands of times more dangerous than the most dangerous Rick in all the universes. Evil Morty. I don't know if this is the only Morty who got tired of Rick and decided to go his own way, but he was definitely the most successful. Rick created a "wall" from other universes, so that only Ricks in their universes would be the smartest. Ironically, the Ricks' greatest danger wasn't the smartest beings from other universes... but the one who was always there. The one who was just a "brainwave cover."
