@@pingu._. with passionate about what he does i mean passionate about manipulating the algorithm of youtube, navigating the clout/internet/content game to gain the most traction and the most views. im not sure hes particularly passionate about the content itself but like how big things get and what 'works'. Ive never heard someone talk in such detail about exactly how to navigate the new entertainment space in accordance to the algorithm. Like the gatekeepers in the entertainment industry used to be individuals and businessmen, e.g. people who worked for record labels, TV or radio stations. In the internet landscape algorithms have taken on this role of diffusing content to those demanding it and determining success. I think he approaches with the passion of like a scientist, and he demonstrably figured it out like no one else. His ability/skill in this area is something that comes up a lot in the flagrant interview (again not a mrbeast viewer i just happen to like flagrant and tmg).

When you're playing a video game, you can interact with the other person during the experience. When you're reading a book, it's like watching a movie where you do it on your own, an you can share ideas and discuss at the end. All that being said, I think it's a very positive activity and very sweet. It just comes off as strange with how extravagant so many other things of Mr.Beast's life are.
