At 7:14 you can use the node manager located on each island (typically the same NPC you interact with during each quest) to repair the durability of their matchlock. This will save you a bit of silver rather than buying a new one off the marketplace as you'll likely need to repair it several times throughout the questline. - Levi, Thank you for taking the time to share with the BDO community your fantastic guides, they have been a fantastic resource for new and returning players!

It requires trading, which is another video I have to make. You can either wait for me, or look up someone else's guide on trading - they changed it so you only need artisan 2, not master 2 like old guides will say. So just remember that breakpoint change. But try searching for Desert Buff trading and see what you find. Or you can just wait for me xD

You can do life skill stuff within 15 minutes of making a new character. Story helps to get into stuff easier

Took me too long to understand: Drops from hunted animals are purely based on hunting mastery (gathering mastery ignored). Even though butchering hunted animals will increase your gathering mastery.

best bet imho : polly forest. petals drop over there. We are talking about rng at a really low success percentage, so don't expect being covered in petals after 3 hrs grinding, but to my knowledge still the best place to farm the petals.

Farming lots of monsters in short time (pollys, fadus), afk fishing, gathering, basically anything you do. There's not a 'farm'. It's a low drop rate item from doing anything in game.

Check your black spirit quests (comma key), challenges menu (y key), login rewards (B key). You get 2 from the black spirit for playing through the story, and they give out a free one roughly every month.
