Had bearings that have been garbage straight out the box many a time at work. I always check the pickup ring with a piece of magnet paper now to check all the teeth/notches are ok prior to fitting. Best 6 quid ive spent on a 3cm square piece of paper 😂 loving the content tho mate. Recently purchased a mk2 ST so seeing you building the RS up is making me want to do a resto on mine 😂😂

I had a similar issue on my ST225...I replaced abs sensors, wheel speed sensor, ecu, even put wheel hub braces on to stop the hubs pulling themselves out...eventually found it to be a lose ground wire in the ABS control module...which sits behind/under the battery...happy hunting.

Hey well I did say that was the problem with the ABS 4 days ago if you go back and check as had this fault on a good few cars in the last few years and yes you will need a GOOD press as the last one I did needed 32 tons of pressure before it came out . Have fun

Hi , I’ve got a mk2 RS , I had major issues with car running and engine management light and it was bad soldered joints on the back of the instrument cluster. Not saying that’s your problem but it is a common issue.

My old mk1 focus 2003 had abs and engine management light on all the time changed all abs sensors and the abs was working I looked on line and had to take the clocks out of the dash take the back of the clocks and cleaned it put it all back together then was fine found out was a common fault on ford focus but not sure about your one but check on line see if you're focus has same fault

Its the abs leads guaranteed the rs has same loom as the st but the rs is slightly wider so causes the leads to break down you need to get new leads from fords for a ford kuga solder them on and you wont have the prblem again
