John Jenkins - Sharpshooter 23/24

John Jenkins. Shooter. Once upon a time, Jenkins was a scintillating sniper who led the nation in three pointers made per game when he was with Vanderbilt. He then went on to be drafted by the Atlanta Hawks. After many different stops around the world, John signed the NBA G League Ignite and well…caught fire.
Jenkins finished the 23/24 season (factoring in both the G League regular season + showcase) at 17.8 points per game on 48.0/49.1/93.1 shooting splits.
Split between the two, he finished 3rd in 3 point field goal percentage (47.8%) in the regular season and 2nd in 3 point field goal percentage (50.5%) for the showcase.
As with the video from the previous year (linked below), I wanted to highlight some of Jenkins' ability to weaponize his gravity and willingness to share the rock on the back end of the video.
John continues to be one of my favorite players and one of my all-time favorite shooters to watch.
