hi I have a 71 40 hp Evinrude stick steer. the throttle arm will not open the carb. it moves all the parts in the motor but it won't rev the motor. someone told me about a throttle stop thing I have no idea what they are talking about. can you help me?

I have a 1984 Evanrude Super40. I believe it is identical to this 84 Norsemen. Sold to another part of the world and name something different. Is it possible to take a electric start system from a 84 Evan rude and adapted over to the 84 super40. My problem is that you damn near have to be the Incredible Hulk to pull start this motor and if you're not paying attention it will pull you right back into it. So I'm hope is that I can take the electric start setup off of the 84 Evinrude 40 and it will fit onto the 1984 Evan rude super 40. Thankyou. 🙏🙏

7mm tinned copper or solid copper sparkplug wires ?

Solid core copper wire should be used.

Ryan Hunkin its a two stroke.,u don't change oil with a two stroke numb nuts

You can change the gear oil in the lower unit. No oil in the motor. You mix the oil with the fuel like a chain saw or weed eater.
