I'm disappointed I never ever read the instructions until I'm three-quarters of the way through the project and here you are reading them at the beginning😠😎

There is no fuel pump kit listed for 1978 and older outboards on any parts supply I can find, but it looks like this kit here will work for them. Can anyone confirm?

Do you tighten down that cap screw with screw driver or just tighten with hand

Good thing you opened it up, that crispy critter of a diaphragm wouldn't have worked very well.

How’s the weather down there ? Have you been out on the water lately ? That wasn’t an OMC kit was it ? Have you any dealings with the carb kits on Amazon for a 9.9 & 15hp ? I just ordered one for Mr. Maaz , I hope the seat isn’t metric like on those chinesiums !

I'm actually gathering parts to do a video on carb kits. Fair warning, I think itll be similar to my defective points video.

Love your outboard vids. Quick question. Have you ever used one of the aftermarket pumps that are sold on Amazon? The ones that are being sold for less than 20 bucks. I'm as wary of cheap parts as the next guy, but sometimes they are fine. As an example, I just replaced a carb on a 4hp Tohatsu with one of the Chinese aftermarket versions and the carb was fine and the engine ran fine with it. Thanks.
