Great comparison of these two Autel Drones. I love my EVO 2 Pro, but I don't have the Lite Plus, but I did get the Nano Plus. The Lite Plus seems like a great mid size drone, but at that price points it probably should have 10 bit color, and have a smart controller option, just my two cents. Thanks for posting a non-Avata video this week, LOL.

Hi, great review video, very informative! I use my EVO lls for mapping and have the V1 Smart Controller and Live Deck. While the Smart Controller was expensive, the large screen and bright display were worth the cost. However, I do like my DJI Mavic 3 with the zoom feature for wildlife video work. IMO Autel support is still deficient and they have a long way to go.

I love the explorer cam on the Mavic 3 . Insane cool gimmick. I wanted a smart controller but couldn't afford it at the time it came out.

I think I will wait until the day the E3P comes out before I buy another drone. I hope it will have a micro 4/3 sensor. I am very happy with my E2P. However, I think the Lite + would also be an awesome drone!

Great compar, the evo2 pro still holds it on, even though ,the lite plus is a great drone also. Autel seems to be making a another evo 2 v3 controller, and maybe one for the lite plus and nano series. Someone needs to make one. that holds a sim card so u don't have to use your phone hotspot.

I think it's overkill to create a smart rc for those drones. Especially price wise if u gotta compete against the mini3pro that comes with a great comtroller

I love your videos! I'm in the process of making a purchase decision for my first drone. I'm leaning heavily toward the Evo Pro 2, 6k. Do you happen to know what "flavor" of log footage this drone offers? Specifically, I'm trying to figure out if I could use Davinci Resolve's color space transform. I don't see "A-Log" listed specifically among the options. Any insights? Your vid with Billy Rybka was great, btw!

The Log on the E2Pro takes some gettin used to. I use it frequently and figured out a way with my Davinci Resolve 18 to make my footage pop but the E2P quality straight out of camera is insanely good. A lot of times I just use it just like that without any adjustments except for like contrast and temp etc. . Thank you very much for watching. Aloha

As always enjoy the video very well as I’m breaking out into this world of Autel I have been for the most part very pleased. I do have the light plus and have been simply amazed I currently have the controller in for repair as the controller controls slowly starting to fail luckily nothing major happened with it in the air But if it did could quickly be resolved through the return to home feature. As far as Customer Service they’ve been nothing shy of awesome and it has been a very timely manner. The only thing that I don’t really care for is if she’s not on level ground when she’s going through the gimbal checks being that the camera is quite one HAMMAH it cannot properly go through its gimbal checks without hitting the ground. Simple modifications to the legs would probably resolve that however I just try to look for something level to put down on the ground. I do have a piece of cardboard that I use if I need to or a bodyboard. Anyway brother I do appreciate all the information and I agree with that camera ability! Unreal.🙏🏽 a hui hou! Mahalo!

Now that the Evo II Pro - Version 3 has been released, have you been lucky enough to grab one for testing against the Evo II Pro v2? With the price drop of the v2 (now $1599), is it worth it? Or should we hold out and pay the premium for the ver 3 -- when it comes fully available?

The V3 and V2 are very similar and the only difference I can really tell is the chipset. That's it. So if there is a good deal on the V2 I would snatch that rather than paying premium for just a different chipset .

@@808-Stat3 Thank you for replying. I wondered about the camera quality as well. Autel is promoting the "New Sony 20mp camera" onboard with the Moonlight 2.0 algorithm. In comparison to the Moonlight 1.0 found on the Autel Light+. I ask you all this because you do a fantastic job in your reviews and comparisons!

@oswalddesign I haven't seen a massive difference in quality . Regular or low light. The color scheme is nearly identical, and the camera quality in clarity is only slightly better. In low light, the blacks seem to be on a better side rather than the v1 or v2, but that's pretty much it my man. Aloha. Hope I could help

I have a Evo 8k v1, would the new lite + have longer range, I find my v1 Evo gets interference in my area

No. They are similar in signal strength unless you upgrade your controller for the V1 with the antenna upgrade such as alientech
