Evo X Carbon Fiber Side Vent Install

hey guys so in today's video we are installing some carbon fiber side vents or fender vents onto Letisha's Evo X
after my last experience with carbon fiber i was a little hesitant and tried to talk her out of ordering these but she really wanted them and went ahead anyway and luckily I didn't have any problems

These fit on an Audi TT MK1 perfectly on the front side of the rear wheel arch and look amazing.

Haha yeah I really tried to talk Letisha out of ordering these but she desperately wanted them and went ahead and ordered but when they arrived i was very worried. We were lucky and didn't have any fitment issues

What's the average price for an Evo X in Australia in your perspective?

They seem to have gone up in price a lot recently so it's hard to say as I don't know if they're selling at those prices. But the bottom of the market seems to be 30k now where as a year ago those ones were priced at very low 20s And the newer ones seem to be going for 40-50k It does seem very pricey at the moment and I think they may go back down but then again it seems all performance card has risen in value heaps in the last year so hard to say

I’d rather drill something to it. Like a bracket or something that could hold it from behind.

Yeah there is a thread on the back for a screw but that would mean drilling through the guard/fender to mount it. I've had these in my daily driver Evo X for the last 3 years/ 70,000kms just taped on and they haven't budged at all
