Thanks for this - Mine is due for this chain and I REALLY didn't want to have to drop the entire engine. Only video I could find that managed to do it with the engine still in the car.

Your chaine tensioner didn't fail look at the make on their tensioner. Your chain stretched out and its not like a timing belt tensioner you can more then in by hand oil pressure keeps it out
