I owned 2012 Diesel 110PS, kept it for 10 years, drove it for almost 2L kms. It was magic, I own Scorpio N now but still miss Duster's ride and handling combo. I was ready to buy next gen duster as it's replacement but sadly Renault didn't bring any. Duster can't be a Duster without Diesel engine !!

I've been a proud owner of a 2016 Duster Diesel MT 110ps, for all these years, and it's been a reliable companion through thick and thin. The drive quality and ride quality are simply the best, always putting a smile on my face. I'm eagerly awaiting the new Duster from Renault and can't wait to experience it. Thanks again, Evo team, and I look forward to more gems like the Duster in the GBNF series.

My father in law's 2014 Diesel duster (85 ps, RXL) has clocked 2.5 lakh kms. Had major service on 2 lakh kms and replaced front shock absorbers. But the machine still drives very smoothly with mind blowing fuel economy....😍 I'm always a fanboy of this engineering marvel....❤‍🔥

The idea that the Duster was built for the developing world should be forgotten, I remember traveling through French wine country, and there were tons of these Dacia's around, working hard. You can't tell whether it was a worker or the owner of the vineyard. In that landscape, it was classless and reaked of understated elegance and charm. I drove the Nissan version with the 108 bho diesel, it pulled like a freight train, very impressive engine.

Own a Duster AWD in Amazon green. My first car and I must say, there are certain intricate differences the awd has over the fwd. - The clutch, on load if you switch to AWD the vehicle strains lesser and helps ease the left leg in stop go traffic. - Shorter gear ratios, it’s all torque in ANY GEAR. - And, AWD the capability and peace of mind it offers to get out of a sticky situation. Appreciate the EVO team bringing the almighty DUSTER!

Terrific car. I bought the 2016 AWD model (That's when the facelift happened) and still drive it. The ride is still awesome, mile muncher on the highways and excellent ride quality off the roads in Coorg, Sakleshpur and my recent visit to Doddaballapura. Fuel economy too has been consistent and overall experience has been terrific. A lakh kms and still drives like a charm! I have a check engine light in my duster 110ps since 2019 and it is an 2012 model however there is no issue starting or driving the vehicle.. Many mechanics with latest scanner tried fixing it and few a times the check light went away for a day or two but it still sits in instrument cluster screen... Hahahaha I still own a beast as my city allows me 15 years on a diesel car "Duster" The feel, the power, the space, the ground clearance and offcourse the maintenance is so amazing ❤❤❤ I do have 2019 Creta SX as well but trust me Duster makes me feel like a spoil brat ❤

amazing episode! i owned a 2015 85RXL which I drove for 220k km within first 5 years which shifted to city use from highway duty finally sold this year at 242k km. Amazing car, the ride quality -the ruggedness was unmatched, only issue was spares were hard to come by and ASC service was expensive. I shifted to FNG at 60k km and it was damn cheap to maintain hardly cost 3.5k to 4k per service. Had changed clutch at 150k km, shocks and bushings every 100k km , brake pads at 50k km and brake rotors at 150k km and tires every 60k kms. Thats all the service it need. My wife loved the drive and handling so much that it was her preferred daily car over the replacement Creta I brought in. Finally said goodbye to it this year when I brought a punch EV . One of only cars for which I shed a tear when it was gone. Renault could have handled that badge much better is all I can say. Thanks for the memories.

Capability is next level even by today's standards.. I have already done 2 Himalayan roadtrips from Pune.. and looking for more.. it's also a pleasure around Sahayadri bad roads. After searching for 2 years, finally got a Duster that was well maintained. Thanks for the video.

A wonderful recall of one of my favorite cars, and one that I was never able to get as my own....I had the opportunity to enjoy them, as my friends got them, and the AMT diesels were really the best of the lot, the convenience keeping away the very heavy-duty clutch, the space for the left foot, and the fabulous suspension setup...

My family is an abolsute mega fan of the Duster , we have had the 2014 110 ps Diesel Manual & after that the 1.5 Petrol CVT. Even after switching to the Harrier facelift , I must say Duster had the absolute best ride/handling balance for a mid size SUV , the french really know their suspensions. Sirish mentioned that the Dusters were always reliable but not the 1.5 CVT , we had 3 alternator belt snaps that left us stranded in about 30K kms , so we had to let it go. The performance & mileage was terrible as well. Can't wait for the 2025 launch , really exciting. And once again I am begging for a gone but not forgotten on Opel 🙏

I know its the least popular duster of the lot, but we own the 2020 1.3 turbo petrol and what a beautiful engine! The mid range torque is addictive, can't get enough of it. Heard that the same engine also powers some mercedes models, which is no surprise considering the performance. Of course, the car is dated with regard to interiors and safety, but the engine and ride quality makes up for it.

An ex K9K 110ps Duster user- the biggest regret for me was not to choose the AWD. One issue I think that kept people away from the Duster in the later years is lack of safety- i.e. 6 airbags and ESP as standard. The Duster could have redeemed itself with the 156ps turbo petrol avatar-had it been given better safety equipment.

Good car but very limited sales and service network, I have driven it for 300-400kms in continuity, the car was very consistent in performance.

Dear Sirish Sir and the Evo India Team, I humbly request you to consider to translate/dub the "Gone But Not Forgotten" series into Hindi for Evo Bharat may be try using AI ? It would mean so much to my auto-enthusiast family to enjoy these wonderful stories in a language they connect with. I’m sure many others would also love to experience these videos in Hindi.

Good but isn’t a car that was discontinued 2 years back too recent to be featured in a GBNF 😅 If thats the case you need to make one on alto 800cc and feature all the different altos which were badged as different cars
