Although the dinosaur aka the Tyrannosaurus is scientifically inaccurate I still scares me to this very day but I feel sorry for it when it dies and becomes a skeleton And yes the pterosaur evolving into a bird and the T.Rex once again evolving from a Dimetrodon is also inaccurate but I still love it because it shows us how far paleontology and evolutionary biology has come since this was first made in the 1980’s

at 1.56 in the Reptile is sad because the water has dried up and her family and her will die.. however the mammals who did NOT rely on water lived and carried on on land.. it was just a simple way to try to show that mammals became top creature .. hope that helps.. the REAL story will be far more complex!

Birds and Reptiles didn't evolve into mammals Mammals came from amniotes, which were like in-between amphibians and reptiles

@@catpoke9557 HI - thanks for watching.. Sheila here from "A long time ago" well I guess it was 1980 so all of 44 years.. .. not THAT long compared with the millions of years involved in Evolution. I studied to be a doctor and was always interested in the basic concept of evolution which was published by Darwin in 1859 .- even LONGER ago than my movie. Consider that before then the main concept was that all life was created in a week - with a rest in Sunday. ..Thanks to Darwin looking closely at a few key items in nature he began to piece together the jigsaw .. that NONE of us fully understand or ever will cos we are in the middle of it all.. I loved that crazy track of music and as break from animating ART (Like Mondrian- still used today in his house/museum in Amersfoort and Leonardo at the National Gallery) I thought i'd have a go as putting my researches on Evolution and Darwin's basic "pathways" into a fun movie to get folks thinking ..and it did! Being screened in over 25 countries in the 1980's .. and look ..even today you and I are talking about it .. keep well and keep going.. hope you reach 84 like I have
