Wow... just... WOW! I'm amazed by the production quality of your video! So smooth and so clean. I really loved it and also learned how to play! Rating 5/5, Cheers from Brazil.

Why isn't this the top video for Evolution Climate?! It's so good! Thanks for taking the time to make this.

You're welcome. It's not the top video because I made a rules error, perhaps?

This was easily the best rules explanation video out I've watched. Glad I stumbled onto this channel. Hope you're still actively making these!

Thank you so much! I'm currently on a break from animation due to a huge decrease in my free time. I do plan to get back to it as soon as I can.

Glad to see you back with another great video, and with one of my favorite games I'm terrible at teaching. If you made one for Tigris and Euphrates, I'd be set.

I used to own T&E but traded it away - unplayed. I just couldn't get anyone interested in trying it out with me. Sorry.

Wow...this is the absolute best how to I've seen on this game. I love the animation. It helps me stay focused on the game itself. About to dive into every animated how to you've got. Gonna be a long night! Thanks!

Thanks for the video! The normal how to play guy I watch just wasn’t up to par on this game, which led me to you. Yours was way more helpful! Also, your voice sounds exactly like the guy from “True Facts” which is one my favorites. So that gets you extra points.

This is my first video of yours I’ve seen and I’m blown away! These are easily the most engrossing how to videos I’ve ever seen! Your animation quality is fantastic and I frankly love your voice. Its an easy subscribe for me and I’m going to share this channel with my club!

Awesome explanation and video! One small rule thing though, they aren't technically herbivores, if you trigger something that would share meat food, they can eat it. Just the carnivores can't eat anything triggered by plants, if I remember right. Thinking about it though that is kind of an edge case rule.
@GregoryCornell
@GregoryCornell 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and I will take note of that rule in future plays.

I like your Stop-Motion Animations =) One problem that i have with this game is with the climate events.... they never seem to trigger that much, i have played this game maybe 6 times and i have just trigger 2 EVENT cards in my entire playthrough of those 6 games.

Worth noting: if a Cold Snap or Heat Wave event card is triggered, you resolve the event only and ignore the "normal" climate effects (i.e. the population loss and food adjustments due to the climate level).

would you recommend getting the conversion version or is it better to have it as a stand-alone and separate from the original? Also great video, always get excited when I see this pop up in my feed :)

You can split Evolution: Climate into the base cards if you want, though you just have to ignore some extra text on the cards. There's a thread on BGG asking this exact question, most people are in favour of just getting climate.

Those are reallu cool Figures. Did you made them? Or where did you buy them?

The figures are an old toy line called Stikfas. Hence the name Stikfa-mations. They have been out of business for awhile. You can still find old figures for sale on the internet.

At 3:05 you said we can remove unwanted trait cards and trade them in for new cards. But iirc the rule book says we can only discard traits (without drawing a new one to replace it). Am I misunderstanding something?

Click on the description to expand the text area. You will see my error correction. While writing the script, I consulted the rule book and slipped down to the next line and made that error. - Sorry :(
