Evolution of Apex Legends - From 2017 to 2021

I remember season 0, my first legend was wraith and man let me tell you. Back then, everything felt so new and awesome. My teammates were Bangalore and Lifeline. Everything was slow chill and just fun but now. Seeing Apex turn from something slow to injecting yourself with stim.

I was dirt in Season 0, couldn't hit a barn door. Played mostly as Wraith back then before maining Octane for most of Seasons 1 & 2. Switched to Wattson for 3, 4, 5 & 6 but now that I've settled into the game I generally switch every few rounds. Been running Bangalore a bit more over the last few days.

Anyone else realize how the 2nd rendition of the map had a very similar design for skulltown to what is now called "The Relic"/revived SkullTown? The walls surrounding it especially. I remember when this game launched and I was just struggling in COD Blackout- (god I'm glad that game is long gone). I was a bot. I would pick pathfinder and just grapple around completely unhinged. no forethought into my positioning I just wanted to LAUNCH- half the time I'd land RIGHT ON a team and die. I spent so long being so bad, and building up bad habits- that by Season 3 I swore off playing Path and decided to play Wraith and watch pros daily, trying to kill bad habits and replace them with better thinking and positioning. I spent the next 3 seasons maining Wraith and solo Queuing ranked. Taking any advice I could from better players I'd play with and streamers I'd watch. I'm still not incredible but I have learned SO MUCH about how to play FPS games better and more specifically how to play BR's better- this is by far my favourite game, I love how deep the movement tech has gone. It reminds me in alot of ways of Skateboarding, learning different techs and chaining them together. knowing when to apply certain techniques, to ensure you get away with it in combat. I miss the OG days- but I wouldn't trade my practice and understanding to go back in time. I do think Powercreep is a danger to this game's future, but I can tell the devs care about this as much as the players, it's a difficult job balancing things and adding so many new things at the same time- I'm rolling with the punches and enjoying it to the fullest still to this day.

0, bb! \o/ I started out trying to be a Gibby and turtle fights with his gun shield, but eventually I quickly became a Bloodhound main in just a few days playing. Three-fourths the way through season 0 however I unlocked enough legend tokens to unlock Caustic where I could finally unleash my long time dream of being a stealthy gas ninja from Warframe in Apex - becoming a Caustic main.

Season zero for me was something I loved coming from a titanfall fan hoping for a titanfall 3 turning out to being a battle Royale was not what I expected but it was fun I first started using bloodhound cause his scan was so cool to use an his ult was giving me predator vibes truly a great time.

Me,an og started playing apex in season 2 actually wanted to play apex the day it was released I played a match but well my pc sucked so bad I couldn't even play 1 match on season 1 I got a better pc after seeing that the games even sick now but it didn't run properly still so I had to upgrade it that's how I started playing from season 2 even tho I installed in on the 2nd week of release
