It's in the game files, and the lava level even has an area that was for him but left kinda empty. I think they had trouble either with memory or getting him to look right.

It could've been used the same way as in mario world, there could've been a moving platform with holes, and the blargg could go through and you would've had to jump. Idk why it was scrapped, it could've even been a boss, just make it gigantic and think of a way to fight it. Sad it didnt make it...

Blargg, Charvaraagh, they have similar reactions to the player. Nintendo did not allow them in SMB, SMB3, SMW, SMBU styles because they could not think of a replacement or new design for them in SMB and SMB3. I know, they did replace Yoshi with a fancy shoe in the SMB and SMB3 styles.

A mountain sized Nep-Enut shows up in the background of the Yoshi's Island course from Mario Kart Tour, which carried over to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Magmaargh are in the Bowser Highlands golf course from Mario Golf: Super Rush. But I don't have anything recent since then for Blarrg, Charvaargh, or Magmaw. Sorry.

Clearly the 3d world style was rushed, there are so many things that could of been better or made more sense, but they didn't spend the time on it, Koopa car can = goomba shoe, Ant can = Beetle, Porcupuffers and Fire bros were introduce in world and 3 respectively and appear in U, rails existed in 3d world with arrow platforms, and stackable enemies as well, the on/off blocks only affect spikes, clear pipes cannot split into multiple directions, there are no helmets, and many other changes that can be made
