I remember the first gen x box controller. That thing was big in my hands after playing with the ps 2 controller. it actually made me decide to stay loyal to the sony brand. Over the years I understand it dropped in size. But by then I stayed with Sony.

I understand that at the beginning it was experimental and nobody knew what a good controller was until Atari 2600 but seeing so many buttons and numbers on the controllers feels weird even for the time, when the games back then only had like 1 or 2 functions the most of the time, so having like 10 buttons for something so simple looks odd

Xbox 360 perfected the design. I used to be a PS guy but I can't go back to Dualshock/Dualsense. I believe nothing will surpass Xbox controller in a century.
