Some may find the "are you sure" options as annoying but it prevents some young child accidentally deleting a precious save , even the added caution sounds could scare a younger sibling from doing it. Sometimes guilt tripping delete save menus are life savers.

Many people say it hurts watching him deleting all those 100% files, but sometimes it is because we love the game so much that we want to experience it all again. For me, I loved the Mario series. 2D scrollers, paper Mario, Mario Cart, you name it. But because my parents were strict on games, I often had to play through a game multiple times until I’m allowed to buy new ones.
