@@holyroller67 no way it would definitely be one of the first three. bowser from pm64 yields like a really powerful wish wand, the shadow queen is incredibly powerful that she caused all the disaster and the whole plot just revolves around how powerful she is and it took all of mario's strength, his partners, peach's wishes, the crystal stars, and the wishes of everyone else mario met to defeat her. as for super dimentio, he's arguably even more powerful than these two because he has the power to rapidly drive everything in existence towards being entirely obliterated and like both of them it takes the pure hearts charged by love (implied to be a VERY powerful force) to even touch him

Well I've played all of them and I liked all of them, especially the new Paper Mario game. For the final boss battle (not the entire game), overall (difficulty - representation - music - etc), this is my list 1. Super Paper Mario (Not the harderst, but the representation is great, including the plot) 2. The Thousand Year Door (Love the support from the characters, made the battle intense and "definitive") 3. The Origami King (I suck at puzzles, took me hours to end it. Visually impressive and Olly's rage mode works fantastically) 4. Sticker Star (Like the dynamic with the background) 5. 64 (Really like the change of battle with Twink and Peach, short but effective) 6. Color Splash (Great interaction with Huey in phase 2) But it's just a list, I liked them all!

I would rank the Final Bosses like this: 1)King Olly: the music is fantastic (especially Phase 1&3),it's cool gameplay-wise,the visuals and atmosphere are top notch 2)Black Bowser: emotional music,great atmosphere and visuals like TOK and balanced difficulty 3)Shadow Queen: hard and long,but epic and the encouragement scene is BEAUTIFUL 4)Bowser 64: it's your classic Bowser fight,but still nice 5) Count Bleck and Super Dimentio: gameplay-wise,this offers very little substance (it's something all the bosses in SPM have),but damn,music atmosphere and visuals are so damn good 6)Sticker Crown Bowser: you have to bring like,1 million stickers and it's so slow At least the music and the last Phase are cool

Okay, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually love Sticker Star. A lot of people say it has bad mechanics and stuff but I really just ignore that mess. I personally loved the story, the soundtrack, the graphics and backgrounds, and the new sidekick character that was introduced, Kersti. I feel like she had some good character development, and I find her sacrifice in the end to be rather touching. And, it being my very first paper mario game i had ever played, that also has some effect on my love for it. I know a lot of people hate the game, and I respect their opinions, but this is simply what I think. And that game will always be a great part of my childhood for me.

64: Goofball who's still a major threat. TTYD: Even goofier goofball who isn't a real threat, but still can be a bit tough to fight. SPM: Goofball anti-hero who becomes more hero-like by the end SS: Generally evil, but I guess more evil due to the sticker. Not fundamentally different. CS: Generally evil, but I guess more evil due to the black paint (who was a scrapped villain, by the way). A bit silly, but is humorless with the black paint. TOK: A funny dude (and dad) who's actually a bit more mature, holds a reasonable grudge against the villain.

The Black Paint isn't really a villain in the traditional sense. The true antagonist, maybe, though it never acts on its own. Interestingly, though, the concept art shows the Black Paint was going to be a full on villain (probably "teaming up" with Bowser while it actually just gradually takes control).

It would be dysfunctional. Plus: Grodus is just a head, while Bleck and Olly renounced their evil. I think Dimentio would be the one to bring back (he could've been the villain in Paper Jam, with the different Mario "dimensions").

Man this series is awesome. Sucks that the 2 modern games have some issues, like the overload of Toads and paper puns, but they were really solid games. And the classic ones? Unarguably amazing, TTYD, Super, the OG, all awesome. Sad the series is stopping at 5 entries, but so be it. *What do you mean there’s a game before Color Splash*

I love what it stands for but I only have one issue.......that is why her as a final boss when she feels even weaker then the first boss since when I gkt to this point I think of oh shoot we really goofed up just to fight her and sure she says that she all that but I just keep applying that damage and she just dead..... i felt sad like give her some damage or a move that will beat you in defeat your whole party in one move I just didn't feel anything from this boss but I do love how she was implemented and I love how unique she is but give her something that why you fear her or should

I like how in the original Paper Mario Trilogy Bowser, Peach and Luigi are all the Final Boss. In the fourth game Mario himself should be the final Boss too bad this never happened. He could be possessed or have an evil clone that would be awesome so all Main characters their once the final boss.

I can see this being possible if they port Color Splash to Switch and add a new story with Luigi after beating the main one. Think about it: The Black Paint became sentient and wants to corrupt the world,so Luigi and Huey must stop him/her(I would call him/her "Black Pain") and then during the final fight Black Pain will transform into Mario in the 1st or 2nd phase of the fight

@@StardustYusei21 I can understand why people hated Color Splash,but you can't deny that it was still a solid game and didn't deserve neither to sell bad nor all the hate it got,so it would be very cool if they port it Also,regarding the whole "2 Paper Mario on one console" thing... Well,technically you can play TTYD with Super on the Wii,or Super with Color Splash on Wii U,and 64 on both consoles,so it's not that big of a deal
