28:25 AFAIK, it's because Ghosts are considered to be part of the "default" household, and since they are children, it will try to bring adults from their household to take them. Thus, NPCs.

The Sims 1 ghosts scaring me as a kid will always be remembered. I’ve never seen the death reenactments in The Sims 2 because I didn’t have the heart to get my sims killed. The Sims 3 ghosts are so cool. Even the ghosts being surprised by each other’s ghostly presence is absolutely hilarious. 😅😅😅😅😅 Can’t wait to get Life and Death for The Sims 4. Looks pretty cool. Even without it, I can get used to playing as ghosts. It’s so nice to finally be able to play as them without moving another family into the house and going through all that hassle to make the ghosts playable. 😁

In sims 2 I think if a sim died because of the murphy bed their ghost will react negatively to it if it's still in the house. I might be wrong tho

Well, if anything they would have inserted less repetitive expansions and perhaps the great-great grandparents of the characters in the chronology of the plot (explaining better than the lores), I would also have overlooked the too cartoonish graphics factor and questionable mechanics!

Sims 2 ghosts has to be the scariest. Sims 3 and sims 4 are not really that scary since sims can interact with them, Sims 1 is kinda scary when the ghost music plays but I would have to give the win to sims 2

In ts2 the Sims don't actually see them, that's why they don't react unless the ghosts intentionally scare them. It's a glitch that they act like they notice them. 😅
