Honestly the sims 4 soundtrack Is so under appreciated, people always look back to sims 2 and 3 which obviously have fantastic soundtracks similarly, and there is a reason we look back, but sims 4 soundtrack is fobbed off often, but I don't understand as it has a really nice orchestral feel, something which isn't as present in the other games and you can tell a lot of work went into each and every sound cue

This part of the sound track is great and I love the jingles tied to the emotions. It's the other aspects that kind of suck. There's one particular musical number in CAS that will make me mute my computer for a few minutes until I'm sure it's over because of how depressing and grating it sounds.

I agree with you, the Sims 4 soundtrack is S-tier But it's overshadowed by a game that has been extremely underwhelming, buggy and lacked vision compared to its predecessors (the sims crew gave worked really hard to make the game more enjoyable, but it took YEARS to reach an forgivable point)
