They were very lucky that they were able to work with Xenomania throughout their entire Career. When The Supremes lost Holland-Dozier-Holland in 1967 who gave them Five Consecutive Number Ones their popularity on The Charts waned. Their last Number One was "Someday We'll Be Together" written by Johnny Bristol & Jackie Beavers that Janet Jackson would later sample for "If". It was kind of ironic considering that her Brothers Departure from Motown was the ugliest.

Loved girls aloud at that time but they were very much a product of the time they had some great songs and some not so great loved it when Cheryl one solo she had some bangers that’s because she worked with the right people like Calvin Harris and will.i.am and Tinchy Stryder she can’t sing that well but she can perform and gets the right people on board and she was a judge on the X factor and that’s why she had so much success going solo in my opinion if Nicola would’ve had better songs I think she would’ve been anime is a solo artist and the reason that he never made it back as a solo artist she sounds herself to her own label

Cheryl has released the best Solo songs by far. For instance, _Fight for This Love_ is still a timeless classic. It was a gigantic hit and everyone loved it. It sold 1 million copies in the UK alone (Double Platinum) and got Gold in Germany which is a huge achievement for a British female Solo artist. It was meant to be a hit. Same goes for _Promise This_ . She also had _Three Words_ that was an interesting song. The other girls have all extremely awful solo songs. Plus, watching some of their live shows it's noticeable that Cheryl was pretty much the only one able to dance and eventually entertain a crowd on her own.

I’ve heard them back in the day. I knew it! I’m sorry but there’s nothing special about them, to be honest. They sound so generic. All of their voices sound the same. They don’t have a very tight harmonization. They are a typical girl group. They have evolved in terms of aesthetics but beyond that… Nothing! They’re not the prettiest as well. I wonder how Cheryl was the crowd favorite in the UK yet there’s nothing special about her voice. Her PR team however knows how to market her & used all to her advantage. So, to compare them to Little Mix is a big slap. I mean, Girls Aloud maybe seniors but talent-wise, vocals, choreography, artistry, aesthics, etc. definitely goes to Little Mix alone. Having to win Best Group at the Brits says it all. Not just a group but 1st girl group to win the coveted award! 😊
