Poor Popo and Nana. They only got one game that was on the NES. Heck, they even got cut in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS. I'd like a new Ice Climbers game. A reimagining akin to Kid Icarus Uprising. Something like a survival mountain climbing game, where team work is essential to get up.

Well with this one could think of more gameplay elements to make it more fit to this time keeping the base concept of cutting bricks open from above, but including boss battles, false bricks, multiple path-ways which could lead to different mountain passes, basically turning it more in a combination of adventure and open world elements with the "side scrolling" going upwards. Another concept which could be incorporated is getting more climbing gear (from bosses for example) to reach certain mountain areas which weren't accessible before.

Ice Climbers consisting Popo and Nana made their first appearance in their own game based on their name. They also made their cameo appearance in the Wii U version of Super Mario Maker and WarioWare games. They also appeared in Super Smash Bros. games since Melee, but they've been cut in SM4SH because of the hardware limitation on the Nintendo 3DS (although they would fully running on the Wii U), and they're finally returned in Ultimate released for the Nintendo Switch alongside other 7 returning fighters consisting Pokémon Trainer, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Wolf O'Donnell, Solid Snake, Young Link, and Pichu were all truly revealed at the E3 2018.

I just thought of something when I got to the part with brawl’s subspace emissary. When you got to lucario as the ice climbers and meta knight, why not use the battle with lucario instead of fighting someone outside of subspace? It would save time

Anybody else feel like Ice Climbers need more representation in video games My personal wishlist would be - for them to have a reboot of the original game (which is actually really fun) but in hd and on the switch - a new game similar to how kid icarus was rebooted, maybe something similar to those old school 3d platformers we grew up with like banjo and kazooie and mario 64 where you have to traverse levels and defeat enemies but since ice climber is a vertical based platformwe there's a lot of mountain climbing, maybe even cave diving, and possibly introducing new mechanics that could be added into further smash games like having certain vegetables give special effects like how the corn gives an extra life, different ice abilities, and going more in depth into the enemies like the condor, yeti, and seal and possibly explain the importance of the eggplant, maybe it could be an important plot point - a little more representation in smash, maybe add the yeti as an assist trophy or spirit or something - literally anything lol, even a 2d reboot with newer stuff, an Ice Climber 2 so to speak
