I would have loved to jump into the 1880’s and 1890’s to the 1980’s and experience its amazing evolution. You get to be at the point of sudden growth of population and city development with machines and technology on the rise. And in the other hand, still recalling your childhood in the old days where it just started to peak with lots of land to spare and fields to play. It’s really is a huge evolution.

The time I went to visit San Francisco and Los Angeles, in restaurants, hotels and food stands, I saw a lot of my countrymen, and I always asked in English, but on some occasions, they answered me in Spanish or they directly told me to speak in Spanish, because I had Latin features that made me waste the little English I knew Haha.

*1325: Tenochtitlán was founded, eagle eats a snake on the prickly pear at the island in the middle of Texcoco lake. *1337: Tlatelolco town (actually in ruins) was founded separated from the aztec island. *1376: the first Tlatoani (aztec king) Acamapitchtli rules the aztec empire. *1390: The Main temple (Templo Mayor) was builded in the preview years and then is start the rebuild to the second stage (growing up) *1426: Maxtla, the ruler of Azcapotzalco (actually a boroung of Mexico City) then, the city was destroyed in 1430. *1431: The Main Temple made as the Third stage (Templo Mayor III) at the same year is builded "La casa de las Aguilas" (House of eagles) the place for religious activities, localized next to the Main Temple and the other side is builded "La Casa del Jaguar" (House of Jaguar) training home for Jaguar warriors. *1440: Moctezuma Iihuicamina came to aztec power expanding areas of the Tenochtitlán Island *1449: Tenochtitlán was flooded on, but Nezahualcoyotl builds dykes regulating at will through gates for protection of the Tenochtitlán Island made the water less of salty. *1454: The Main Temple is turned into the fourth stage (Templo Mayor IV) *1481: Tizoc rebuild the Main Temple as the fifth stage (Templo Mayor V) *1486: Ahuizotl replazes Tizoc after his death and he rebuild the sixth stage of the Main Temple (Templo Mayor VI) and build the first stage of Ehecatl temple localized in front of the Main Temple, the Tzompantli (Skull rack as a collection of heads of human sacrifice), The Ballgame area, the Red little Temples in both sides of the Main Temple to make tributes of the god Xochipilli, The Calmécac (The aztec school to educate the nobles) Tozpalatl (a Swiming Pool for aztec priest to wash before and after the ritual activities) the two Tezcatlipoca temples localized in the corners of the large area of the Main Temple. *1499: the Ahuizotl dam expands more areas using "Chinampas" as floating crops on Texcoco lake located at the southeast. *1503: Moctezuma II builds "La Casa del as Aves" (House of birds), "La casa de las fieras" (House of beasts), the rebuild of the last stage of Main Temple (Templo Mayor VII) included, the Priests' chambers with stone snake carvings, and more snake heads around the pyramid, the Coyolxaunqui stone appears, The second stage of the Ehécatl temple is added the snake head dome. *Hernán Cortéz and the spanish members on the big boats to the Texcoco lake enters Tenochtitlán believed by Moctezuma II as the Quetzalcoatl god who came. *1920 "The Sad Night or The Night of Sorrows" (La Noche Triste) was a defeat of Hernán Cortéz and his spanish clan under the Ahuehuete Tree, but they brought smallpox epidemic to the Aztec people dying leaving Cuauhtémoc as the last Tlatoani (Aztec emperor) and the spanish warriors enters again Tenochtitlan to invade, collaborated with other native clans who are dissatisfied with the Aztec government. *1921: Tenochtitlán is destroyed, even with the Main Temple is on fire and then dissapeared, Hernan Cortez and the spanish people took the ruined place into the capital of Viceroyalty (Virreinato), the Texcoco lake started to be dissolved little by little, the Zócalo is started localized next to the destroyed Main Temple area. *1524: the first catholic church appears, the merchants are builded with arches in front. (a.k.a. Portal de los Mercanderes) Theres more information to tell all the events of Mexico City but leaves, leave more information with investigation about this capital of Mexico, formely Tenochtitlán.
