*Read This:* 1. I didn't add any cartoon/anime in this video *(The video is about 3D CGI)* 2. I didn't add any prequel/sequel from a movie that are already in the video. _(That's mean you won't find Toy Story 2, Star Wars II, etc)_ 3. Don't confuse *Hand-drawn CGI* with 3D CGI. 4. Don't confuse *visual effects* with 3D CGI. 5. Don't confuse *Stop-motion* with 3D CGI 6. I added the movies that had the best CGI for the year it was released. _(That's mean you won't find Hulk (2003), The Mummy Returns (2001), etc)_ 7. I didn't add any game in this video. *Thank you, enjoy the video! :D*

Some characters' facial animations look odd a few times, particularly whenever they get surprised, plus a few backgrounds, particularly at the gas station, seem a bit empty. Despite that, that movie still generally looks great to me and is a relic in CGI. It's astounding how _Toy Story 2_ was an improvement despite production issues.

Time flew fast,now,in 2050 we will be amazed how CGI will come to life,and remember all these shows and will say "It's poor graphic" but it used to be our childhood memories
@williamsmith69213 жыл бұрын
We are so close to complete realism that I think we will reach that point way before 2050, I think the real impressive thing will be how live video games will eventually be able to produce this level of quality, even now with the new console and pc hardware gen, it is getting really impressive, just consider how it took some of these early cgi things months to render, while now it is rendering at 30-60 fps
@GlutenFreeStudios2 жыл бұрын
Games like red dead redemption 2 are already exceptional when it comes to 3D graphical matters. Depending on which media we are viewing in the future, we might not have such a different opinion. There is a limit to realism, and the limit is reality. As we progress in our technological fields, we get closer to a peak, and once we reach that peak, it’s all been done.

I think there are two main reasons why people don't like today's CGI. 1: An over-reliance on the medium has caused it to lose its magic. Nowadays, no one will ask "how did they do that?" when they watch a scene in a movie. 2: No one's innovating on the technology anymore (at least not many filmmakers are). As soon as CGI became realistic, we've hit a plateau.

Você não reconheceria um "computador" em 1960 se comparasse com os de hoje.
