Few older pics of my one year build of my 73 dodge D100. From frame to cruiser. Along with a vintage bagged camper. Using accuair, slam specialties bags and a powerdyne supercharger on a 99 5.9 magnum with 46re trans.

Incredible. I’ve had this idea brewing for years. Bagged campers and mini homes that is. Not dragging them but this is awesome

I owned one of these in the late 80's, when I was in college at NAU in Flagstaff. '73 Dodge D100, 318, long bed. It was even the same color, but it had a lot of superficial rust [patina]. God, but I miss that truck. In many ways, it was the best vehicle I ever owned.

nice truck like to see a hard pull off the line instead of all the power braking i am running a 74 MH 440 - 3 / torker intake 850 thermoquad dual exhaust /load flight 3 speed / 8 3/4 3.55 sure grip in a 73 D 100 club cab long box pulls hard off the line and just keeps pulling

This truck is a bit of a dog off the line, it wasn’t built to go fast at all. There is another video posted of the truck running at the track.

Modified the stock upper and lower arms. With slam specialties re7’s up front and built a wishbone style 3 link in the rear with slam re8’s. I’m using accuair e•level for management. Frame was Z’d 2” also.

That’s awful. We have had a run with recent attempted thefts. Hopefully you can track down another truck worth saving ! This one was actually always a short bed but I cut the box sides off the blue long bed and poorly put them on my short bed.

I see two trucks what happened to the first one?
@moparmuscle1233 жыл бұрын
Same truck, the yellow cab was pretty rusty, and rather than painting the truck I found a donor truck and cut the box sides down and welded them to the short bed.
@andrewburt79003 жыл бұрын
@@moparmuscle123 I guess I’m confused. All your pictures of tunnel mods etc.. are of the blu cab truck? So that can’t possibly be the yellow ones cab. I like the build I like the video too. Just curious what happened to the yellow truck and frame motor etc...0
@moparmuscle1233 жыл бұрын
@@andrewburt7900 the yellow cab was too rusty to bother repairing. So it went to scrap. This truck is a mixture of 3 trucks. Frame is not original to either of the trucks. I had the frame sitting for years, then I bought the yellow truck for the mint grill and tailgate. I used it for one summer slapped together then the following winter I scrapped the yellow cab and used the blue trucks body parts and cab to have a truck that was one colour without having to paint it.
@andrewburt79003 жыл бұрын
@@moparmuscle123 got ya. I’m sorry it went to scrap. They sell whole floors rocker panels and cab corners etc.. on eBay pretty cheap. I don’t know where you’re located but if I was within a few hours of you I would have happily paid more than scrap for it. Hate to see these old trucks going away
@moparmuscle1233 жыл бұрын
@@andrewburt7900 the truck sat in a slough, I don’t send things to the scrapyard unless they are way too far gone. I kept everything that was good. Only the cab itself was scrapped.

How disrespectful of a nice ride, not sure why everyone wants to do a burnout in a truck, it takes about 75 hp to roast tires, so old news, this entire build and video, outdated! I’m not even going to give a thumbs down, doesn’t deserve it
