My fave Mario character. I am glad they keep using her. She isn't a typical princess like peach that always needs rescuing, she can make her own way. She is strong and independent, and definitely teaches kids that you don't need a partner to survive. Also, she doesn't look like a princess, which is good as that means you can be a princess no matter your looks.

I remember as a kid I wanted Rosalina more than anything in Mario Kart Wii. I was 9 or 10 at the time and I couldnt get a star or more in mirror mode. My dad used to play night and day with us, and after I told him how much I wanted Rosalina he would play alone when he had the chance. When he finally unlocked her, I was over the moon! Obviously we didnt have the first super mario galaxy, but its such a fond memory of my mine

To be honest, Rosalina is my favorite Mario princess ever! Peach is ranked at a close second, leaving Daisy in third. Daisy isn't bad by any means, though. The reason Rosalina stands out the most is because she shares her personal backstory of how she became mother of the Lumas and made herself a home in the Comet Observatory, and because she's a genuine motherly figure. If my mom ever passes on or if I just won't have a chance to see her again, if Rosalina were real, she could be my new mother, and I'll be adopted. I know I'm sounding weird here, but like I said, she's such a caring and nurturing mother.

Rosalina has been my favorite ever since her debut in 2007 and I didn't understand why until recently. I realize now that it's definitely the voice that does it for me. Peach is consistently annoying, more so is some games than others. Daisy is always yelling. But Rosalina is just...built different. She's mysterious and powerful without being intimidating. Her voice sounds echoing, ethereal, and soothing.

Hello. I know I’m late but I would still like to share my opinion on that. I truly do wish they kept her voice the same. She had a quite, mysterious voice which really matched her character and said a lot about it. Rosalina was meant to be portrayed as a quite, calm, and more heartbroken sounding character (based off her backstory). Now she is definitely more high pitched and happier sounding. I actually think her new voice does fit her pretty well. Maybe it could show how she grew more confidence and got more comfortable/open in the past years. It could also show how she is happier now hopefully. I really don’t see her as another Peach. Rosalina still has her same magic and she it quite mysterious still. She has a very unique personality that no other character has. Rosalina is magical, warm-hearted, mysterious, and full of backstories. Daisy is energetic and confident. Peach is kind and a mixture of loud/quiet. Overall I do prefer her older voice, still love her new one, and think she is her own character.
