7's Rainbow Road beats all other Rainbow Roads by a longshot, I may not have played the other Mario Karts (except DS), but 7 is the most majestic Rainbow Road ever, gliding through celestial body after celestial body (since the moon is not a planet) and gliding through star rings getting a slight speed boost while in the air and the music is fucking beautiful, DS is my 2nd favorite because of the loop de loops and that was the first Mario Kart I ever played

Mario kart 9 rainbow road brainstorm: since theres currently 8 rainbow roads, there should be 2 rainbow roads in MK9, one with all rainbow roads in it at once, and the mk9 rainbow road, the one with all rainbow roads should be a 2 lap race, since there will be 9 RR's by the time mk9 comes out, the second lap will start halfway through the 4th RR, the race is simple, you do a single run around each RR ever, from SNES to MK9, each course will play its own music, like when you've done a run around DS RR, and proceed to MKWII RR, it will start playing the soundtrack for MKWII RR. And when you're about to cross the finish line from each course, lakitude will start counting down from 3, when hes done, you will be shot into the air, proceeding to the next course with a glider, and when you're on the 2nd (and final) lap, the music doesnt speed up, you can just listen to it normally, with nostalgia, and amusement as you race through the entire history of rainbow road... Let me know if I should add anything else in the comments.

Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are not on par. The version here is 8 on the Wii U. 8 Deluxe on the Switch has some differences, though for the purposes of showing the courses themselves, I suppose there isn't a difference, although driving on the courses has been made different due to Ultra Mini-Turbo Boosts.

I love the Ds version when I was young all I had to play was the Ds version and my favorite tracks where the air ship and rainbow road they bring back so much nostalgia I wish I could relive my childhood and get to play it some more I think Ds is the best

The remake of the rainbow road from the n64 always make me feel sad , it's perfect , the music , the gears , the train , and the best , the fireworks , I cry the fist time I play the wii-u lol

Rainbow Road may be the hardest course, but boy does it have the nicest music.

My personal reactions to all Rainbow Road tracks in order: Super Mario Kart (SNES) - Mario Kart DS: Wow.... Even back then, these tracks had some pretty creative ideas. Super Mario Kart Wii: (Raises volume to the max and raises video quality to the max) Mario Kart 7: (Reverts volume and video quality to original setting) Nice! These levels are starting to look pretty smooth! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: (Raises video quality) Rainbow Road: Very "outer-spacey"! 😆 Rainbow Road N64: Ah....yes.... The one that was used in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe trailer..... The most complicated and unique one in my opinion.... That train's whistle makes me feel good all over! 😁 Rainbow Road SNES: Back to the basics, I guess! ☺
