Gunbuster was the first to introduce jiggle physics. Thank you GAINAX. Sakura Wars was mad popular in the 90s and early 2000s. It's a game series that got an anime and had multiple stage plays. The "The Animation" one is the reboot/newest entry to the series. Mazinger-Z didn't just have one remake, it had multiple. This video just doesn't show all of them. Same-ish deal with Getter Robo. Really good mech anime? Depends on what your tastes are. What I can suggest as basic viewing for Mecha fans is Mazinger: Edition Z if you can't handle Mazinger-Z, New Getter Robo which is closer to the manga than the original show, any or all of the Nagahama trilogy aka Romance trilogy (Combattler-V, Voltes V, Daimos), any of Tomino's better known shows (Zambot 3, Daitarn 3, Mobile Suit Gundam, Ideon, or Dunbine), Reideen the Brave, Super Dimensional Fortess Macross, Super Beast Machine God Dancouga, Gunbuster, King of Braves Gaogaigar, Martian Successor Nadesico, Vision of Escaflowne, Magic Knight Rayearth, (you saw NGE already so I'll suggest the parody) Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure, Raxephon, Eureka Seven, Genesis of Aquarion, Star Driver, Valvrave the Liberator, Fafner in the Azure, Marriage of God & Soul Godannar!!, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, SSSS. Gridman (this is also tokusatsu adjacent), and Brave Bang Bravern!.

😎 Gotta love Gunbusters for bringing jiggle physics to the game! And honestly anything with the name Sakura reminds me of the girl from Naruto, so they messed the name up for me 😂😂😂😂 And when it comes to Mazinger Z I shouldn’t be surprised to about that, there’s a bunch of reboots out there. Hell I didn’t even know that the Cyborg 009 I watched was a reboot, and I need to go back to it because I never finished it. I got a lot of catching up to do, I haven’t even finish watching Neon Genesis, especially with everything they got out now.

Do NOT be fooled by Ideon's rather lighthearted theme. There's a reason why the creator Yoshiyuki Tomino is know among the fans as "Kill 'Em All Tomino". While not in all his works, many of his works feature extremely high bodycounts, and that's only if not all of the characters are brutally killed off on-screen, children and toddlers among them.

​@@dynamo366 That's pretty hard to say. But maybe it's Mazinger Zero, Ideon and then Getter Emperor. Mazinger ZERO is basically its own 'world' of its own creation and has reality warping powers to make it the only existing mecha in any universe it has absorbed. That's way stronger than Ideon which can only reset a universe. Getter Emperor is just a crazy huge cosmic horror that continually grows larger forever. It has time manipulation but it can't warp reality. Let's be real here, Mazinger ZERO was only beaten by Kouji and Tetsuya willing the photonic energy into the forms of every other mecha in fiction to attack ZERO. That's a really high bar to reach for.

my favorite gundam anime is and forever will be 00 and im very sad they didn't include any of its 4 openings in this i recommend you react to them honestlly but her super robot wars was so ok and yes sakura wars is huge it has the 2 anime 1 movie 2 OVA 5 videogames and like 8 spinoff games
